The plaza premium lounge located at Edmonton International airport is located on the second floor, approximately across from Gate 52 ish. As with any other plaza premium lounge, the food was ok, not great not bad.. It's a great place to relax prior to taking your flight and grab a quick bite or drink. Since the dissipation of covid, it has returned to normal hours which is fantastic if you are taking an early flight.

Usually Plaza premium lounges are really good.This one needs improvement big time.Running out of food is not a good first impression right after paying.Been there for an hour they did not restock the water jug or glass. Dirty dishes around the lounge. I heard the lady say Hey bro.Food is hit or miss.

There is nothing premium nor lounge about this location. It is super dreary, food is missing, selection compared to some other Plaza is very limited, and staff does not even bother collecting left overs. Good place to sit if you want some quiet space, otherwise avoid at all cost.Update. Food ran out, ground is sticky, and rice replacement was undercooked. Has anyone ever had crunchy and dry rice from an establishment before?

The food was free and I still wouldn’t eat it. Braised cabbage as a meat substitute?? And the sweet and sour chicken looked like vomit.

This is the most basic airport lounge I have ever been to. The best part was the green tea latte. Other than that, the place resembles those free continental breakfasts at economy hotels… powder eggs, pancakes, toast with jam and butter, sausages, potatoes, cereal, packaged generic yogurt, and that’s literally about it. But some food is better than no food, so I am still thankful to be able to eat food in the lounge.

This place was pretty gross… while it was nice sitting away from such a crowded place, the lounge was incredibly dirty (food on tables, the floors, the seats, etc). The food was terrible and not very warm. The food was also scarce as it was buffet style, and every time we saw food being brought out, it was quickly taken. There was some type of chicken slop (for a lack of a better word), and it looked nasty but actually didn’t taste too bad. It wasn’t delicious, but my family and I were hungry so we ate it. There were also spring rolls and chicken soup. The spring rolls, even when they came right out of the kitchen, were basically cold and you could tell they were store bought. The only good thing was the bottomless soft drinks/coffee. They had self serve drink machines and you could get whatever.You pay based on how many hours you stay there, and I think the prices were outrageous for the way the lounge looked and for the food that was served. It’s $62 for 2 hours for 1 person (3 hours is $75 and 6 hours is $100). I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all for your layover as it’s not worth the price whatsoever.

*PRIORITY PASS USER*I would not describe this lounge as “premium” but it ticks all the boxes of what a lounge should have. Food, drinks, and seating. I do appreciate that this lounge is really quiet and there seems to not be a lot of foot traffic hear so it’s possible to rest and rejuvenate while you wait for your flight.I ate chicken noodle soup that I suspect is just campbells and a chicken over rice which didn’t look the most appetizing but was decent!

Visited the lounge during a layover earlier this month, with complimentary access coutesy of my AMEX Gold card. I arrived during breakfast time and stayed for lunch as well before I left for my connecting flight. The food and drink offerings were limited but adequate (the mango and chocolate square cakes, however, were amazing!), but what prompted me to give 5 stars was the service! The staff member at the time was extremely friendly and proactively helpful. I didn't note down his name but if management sees this review, please do give him some appraisal (visited ~9am to ~11am on Feb 18). I also appreciate lunch starting before 11am, such that I was able to have some filling food before my next flight.One aspect for improvement: lack of good spaces for eating. The dining tables in the main room gets filled up quickly, and the side room tends to be quieter, but the high tables are way too small for plates for a full meal (especially not enough space for 2 people) and the sofas are too soft for eating (but nice for relaxing or napping). Hope that could be improved!P.S. I loved the large airplane models at the entrance!

First time visiting the premium lounge as I am flying WestJet. It's much smaller than most business class lounges but the staff certainly make up for any deficiencies.As with almost all my reviews it's the staff who make or break the customer service experience. The staff here are simply amazing and other airlines / lounges could certainly heed a lesson or two from here.Loving it and highly recommend! It it every to early for a mimosa?!

It’s nice and comfortable lounge prior domestic flights. The check is simple and fast. Staff are kind and polite. Food and drinks are basic like cheap cafeteria style. I like how it’s situated that you can have a view of your gate in most cases.
