Family has been seeing Dr Aruna since approximately 2000. Office operations have been dismal since then but the Dr is very empathic, thorough and genuinely concerned about her patients. It's been clear for at least 15 years that the clinic services too many patients so service is abysmal and staff have for unfortunately most of these years been unprofessional.

Took my pregnant wife to get weight checked for the record. 2 people were at the front desk asked us to come back 2 times. First time they said were on Break. Didn't want to open to door to take 2 mins weight check and second time we went they said its almost closing time cannot take in. I had to take her 3rd time. They give priority to people they know and make other wait long even 4-5 hours to see the doctor but the Doctor at this clinic is very nice.

Dr. Aruna Lambotharan has been extremely reckless and negligent during covid. Her practice is very unreliable and her patients have been struggling to get in contact with her. My grandma has been struggling for the last year and Aruna has been unreachable. We've been helplessly taking her to the Hospital's emergency room and those doctors have been repeatedly telling us to consult with the family doctor. Aruna has been extremely inconsiderate and irresponsible as a professional and healthcare worker, especially during these unprecedented times. I would strongly advise against taking Aruna as a family physician.

In my personal opinion that frond line workers are never follow the Canadian Guideline, specially patients' privacy. Also, there have poor interpersonal skills. There have no first come first serve guideline, I hope that they need to upgrade their skills based on the Canadian Guideline. Doctors are spending time with the patients' based on the patients' Lankan political maturity such as if the patient talk about any Nansen, Dr. Lambo love to spend more with that particular patient. I hope this is clearly indicate their inappropriate Guideline. In my understanding they need to address it as Canadian Guideline.

This doctor is grossly negligent. I'm guessing the reason she gets away with this is because her patients are generally people without any knowledge in the medical field. I would be very careful about being a patient here. She ignores time sensitive emergencies. She doesn't follow Canadian guidelines and is never available even in a case of emergency to other professionals. For anything more than a cold I highly recommend someone else.

Great doctor who takes the appropriate amount of time with their patients. Frustrations among some clients is due to the fact that the doctors are in high demand due to the pandemic which is understandable. They are both thorough and kind to their patients both new and existing. They are very busy, which is a good sign. I would be more concerned knowing that a doctor is not as well liked vs. those who are loved and sought after many patients causing the wait times to be very long. Thank you for your service.

The Doctors are amaing but the office its self is tge worst. If you have an appointment, wait 3 hours, if you want to go home for 3 hrs and come back, wait 6 hours lol ridiculous. The dark skin tamil guy in the reception is rude and can’t empathize. Make sure to pack breakfast and lunch and dinner to get treated by Dr. The people in the front are incompetent and take advantage of everyone. Its so sad to see all these tamil elders wait there for hours.. and hours. Wow. Nothing has changed in the last 17 years.

I think Dr. Aruna is a good doctor. However, the clinic needs a stronger team. They need a good plan in place. There is no way one should be waiting 3 hours for an appointment that was booked. This is worst than the emergency department. It's time for a change. I don't want to change doctors but I can't take the torment of going there any more. Proper things need to be in place. Whatever you are doing is not working.

I've been patient for far too long. Staff is very very unprofessional. My appointment got cancelled as there was no electricity which is understandable. When i called back to re-book, the receptionist got upset because i couldnt come on the two slots she had available. As i was asking questions, she said ok bye and hung up not allowing me to finish.

I made a phone appointment with Dr. Aruna Lambotharan and got a call SEVEN days later. I kept quiet and bit my tongue from saying anything because I thought I will give her the benefit of the doubt especially since she's been so great to me. Yesterday I made a phone appointment again and never heard from her. This behaviour is unacceptable and I will be filing a complaint with CPSO. To add to the problem, her staff is absolutely incompetent and do not know how to speak to patients. This clinic needs to be boycotted and Dr. Aruna needs to seriously re-evaluate her practice and the way she's caring for her patients.
