Best location in my opinion, the fella who serves us is good at his job no issues. I just recommend going around lunch time or dinner time no in-between because their selection may be low as it's a busy place, since they didn't have enough meat for a dish he offered us to mix two different ones I got the BBQ and jerk chicken to make a meal! We drive from Milton to enjoy the great food, reminds me of Jamaica best chicken ull get around here! I will say tho would be nice if the phones worked so we could call ahead!

I ordered the curry chicken and rice. The gravy was watered down and had no taste. 3 pieces of chicken which were the top of the legs and a little piece of potato. The lack of a salad was non existence. I asked for hot sauce and with a smile the server said she put hot sauce with the meal. There were non. Could have used more potatoes and chickpeas. I guess they have never seen a Chinese in their restaurant by the stares of the other customers was a sight to be seen. Although I was born in Trinidad and Tobago, I know what curry is. Sunrise Caribbean Flavor lost a Customer. My recommendations is go to Caribbean Flavah located in Hamilton on King St. or Sandra's on Concessions St. if you want a taste of Caribbean food.

Hit or miss. I agree there is one woman working there who I thought hated me. But seeing as there are others who have the same response from her. But regardless. I can put up with unfriendly if the food is good.The service is greatly inconsistent. I ordered 3 jerk chicken meals recently and the portion of rice in all three was laughable. The stingiest portion of gravy over the rice as well. The gentleman behind the counter is by far the nicest of most places I’ve been to and his portions are proper. It’s the two ladies. Worst of all was the young lady who served me, giving me the laughable portion of rice and even less gravy. Worst I’ve had since going to this location for years. Stingy! Not worth the money.

Service was ok. Fried chicken was ok. Chicken roti was disgusting. It was I got the leftover scraps of the chicken in there. All cartridge and bones. I almost vomited there were so many. Then there was stems of some sort in there. One was stuck in my throat. The place is close to home but will never go back.

Love this spot! Great food, always fresh and always a healthy serving. I've had the jerk chicken with rice and peas, the oxtail dinner and decided to try the king fish meal which was also very good. Very good quality meal and reliably good food every time

When I said it was my first time there, she showed me every menu item and described it. Everything looked and smelled incredible. I will DEFINITELY come back. I already have a list of things I still want to try and things I’ve got to have more of! Comfort food. Makes you want to dance.

Had the opportunity to stop in here the other day and I can say I was glad I did, it took one visit to be hooked! The oxtail the curry goat the flavours of both melting into the beans and rice OMG. Went back again today to grab there fried and jerk chicken and both are so full of flavour without being greasy. Highly recommend

Was going to Osmows, saw folks coming out of Sunrise, thought I’d try. Jerk chicken, rice and peas, some cabbage shred…. Food was great, price was reasonable. Folks working the counter were friendly & engaging. Glad I detoured. Will go back.
