Plumbing Express

We needed to replace our aged and leaking hot water tank with a new tank. Jennifer and Kevin from Plumbing Express were great to deal with. Jennifer runs the administration of the office and answered all my questions; I provided photographs of the current tank and its location, and with this she and Kevin worked up several quotes based on different scenarios (from an all-in price to a case where I provide the tank and remove the old tank on my own).Other plumbers I had contacted wouldn't give a price without coming in for a review of the site, and while I can appreciate that it's easy to give out a quote that's vastly different from what's actually required, I'm distrustful of companies that are hesitant to share their rates or even a ballpark estimate. This is not the case with Plumbing Express, they weren't afraid to give an estimate, and in the end, the final price of this job was very close to the estimate (there was an additional valve that needed to be replaced).Kevin arrived on time to do the actual installation; he worked with an ease and efficiency that shows he's done this for a long time. The only thing he needed my help for was removing the old tank. Our basement stairs are a bit tricky.The whole installation took about three hours and was on budget. I would definitely recommend them for any plumbing work.

We called Kevin today after we realized a leak in our shut off valve. He was able to accommodate us very promptly. He was very professional, efficient and very knowledgeable. My husband and I will not hesitate to contact him again for our future plumbing needs. Thank you.

I called plumbing express and chatted with Jen who was very helpful and knowledgeable. She was able to set up an appointment for me with Kevin for the following day! A few months ago we used Plumbing Express to repair a leaky shower. First of all, Jennifer provided excellent customer service, providing information and exchanging messages with me to really understand the issue. She was then able to send a ballpark figure as an estimate (which wasn't final of course). Kevin was well versed in older fixtures (we have a 1950s house) and found the right replacements, doing an excellent job. I plan on using their services for any plumbing needs. We are new homeowners and know absolutely nothing about plumbing. Kevin, our plumber, was extremely helpful in explaining what needed to be done and why. He also gave us a few tips and best practices that will sure come in handy. He was able to come within a few hours of our initial phone call with Jennifer, who was also great to work with.
