The food was great.The music was very old and the same songs have been replayed several times.Overall nice place but the music selection should be much better.Also the two dollars for the jacket storage, and it has to be cash, did not make sense.You already pay $115 dollars so they can include it as part of the service.

I had my wedding here a few years back. Arbat was the perfect venue for our big day! The size was comfortable and spacious for our 100-person celebration and our guests have reiterated that to us ever since.We planned the wedding ourselves and all communications with the venue were quick and efficient, as was scheduling a tour. It was enormously helpful that they already had their own live band on site, which was quite good.The place is beautiful, has that victorian kinda vibe. Thank you Arbat for our good memories!

Hosted my engagement party here the evening of November 18th and I was blown away. This was my first time experiencing a Russian restaurant and Im waiting to go back! From the outstanding service, huge amounts of food, and incredible ambience… I was beyond please! Huge thank you to Victoria for having so much patience with us and actively communicating. The duck was my personal favourite!

Had my wedding here. 200% amazing experience. They organized everything with minimal input from us.Food was absolutely delicious and plentiful - all my guest were raving!!The serving staff were pleasant and quick. Food and drinks were restocked quickly and everything was kept clean and neat.The in - house entertainment were incredibly talented and a pleasure to listen to! Everyone was coming up to me to ask “where I found them”. Perfection! Thank you Arbat Team!!

Alik and his team are so responsive and are always available to answer any questions. Organizing my daughters birthday with them has been a pleasure and I would highly recommend hosting an event here. The space is beautiful and the food is very good!They also have a good life band as well.

This is the best place to host any event. The food is out of this world. Our guests really enjoyed our event and I would like to day a big thanks to management. I would highly recommend anyone who would like to have any party or function to give this place a try. You will not be disappointed.

Very disappointing experience for us. Food is mediocre, but you can find something reasonable to eat. Music is very outdatwd and sound system is very old as well. But their service, or the lack of it, was an absolute mood killer. Compared to other Russian clubs we went to, this one is a complete let down. Waiters refused to help refiling water, or juice. We were expected to clean our own plates. When hot food came out, waitress would give a big tray of hot food to one of patrons at the table and would walk away, would not put it on the table, or help people with serving. Basically we were expected to serve our own food as well, and when i asked the server if she could help us, she responded by saying that no, it is our responsibility to serve ourselves. I am.very disappointed. For $100 a plate, servers could be more attentive. Absolutely not worth the money. We will never return.

Russian Done Right!!!Being no stranger to the Russian community, as I have many Russian friends from all over Russia, and have been to Russian weddings, barbecues, other events and have eaten many traditional dinners at the homes of my friends. I have heard about Arbat from many of my friends over the years and heard such great things about it, sadly I have never eaten there before. Well, I finally got my chance as I was invited to a wedding at Arbat!!.Arbat is located near Dufferin and Center Street right near the famous Concord Foods Grocery store, a landmark in the area. It is a restaurant and an event space for banquets and weddings. It's a little on the smaller side for an event space but our group was easily accommodated. There is live music and karaoke on certain nights and the singers although Russian can and will sing in English and sing English songs ( just ask ). There are set menus for the regular diners and its charged by the type of food and the amount of guests.When the food started coming out, you tell right away who was familiar with Russian food and cuisine and who was not, as they started bringing course after course after course. Some of the guests were full after the first two courses since they didn't realize the main courses had yet to be served. I sampled as many of the delicacies as I could patiently waiting for the main courses to arrive. Every dish that was brought was made to a very high standard with fresh ingredients and high-quality cuts of meat, fish and seafood. The kid's meals were very good as well, although they were full by the time their meals came out my kids said their food was really good. We had a great time, listened to such great music and now I want to go back for dinner. Any takers?
