The sushi here was excellent. The place is nothing fancy, but the food here makes up for it. Food came quickly and waitress was friendly enough. Would definitely eat here again.

I finally came here after years of hearing how delicious this place is and it didn’t disappoint.The place is fairly small and you have to make a reso in advance to go here but it was so delicious!I can’t remember what we ordered as my friends ordered them but they were so so yummyI cannot wait to go back!

We love coming here. Small mom and pop shop that has great sushi. For the past 7 years, we usually get the wasabi combination with some substitutions (circle plate picture). But recently, we decided to build our own (most recent photo with rectangle plate) since it was hit and miss at times with specific nigiri (yellowtail and tuna belly in particular).We got all the things we liked: scallop, surf clam, octopus, salmon, aburi salmon, chop chop, Tobiko, and their special, striped jack. Rolls we had salmon avocado, shiitake and avocado, and negitoro.It was on point today. Rice was a good temperature, not overly soft but has a bite, and a good balance of sweetness and acidity. The fish was delicious, fatty and clean. Loved every bite!Highly recommended.

an authentic Japanese restaurant that reminds me of the time I enjoyed the food in one of those local family restaurant in Japan. Food is excellent, all raw fish were so fresh, cooked dishes taste great. You might find it a little pricey but it is what you pay for what you get. So it is still worth it.We got there at 6pm and we were the last table. Therefore advance reservation is definitely suggested. We had a very enjoyable dinner there and will come back when I miss my Japanese food again.

I had such a wonderful experience in this restaurant. It is the best sushi I had in Edmonton so far. The rice was perfect, the fish was fresh, the tempura was very tasty and price was reasonable. Not to mention the super friendly staff that are very patient in explaining the menu. Do not think twice to visit.It is a very small place, so be sure to call for a reservation in advance.

The best Japanese restaurant for sushi in the city! The quality of fish is distinctly different from other places in the city and have a premium quality to it. The place is quite small, so reservations are recommended.

The setting of this restaurant is super cozy. We had a little quadrant that made me feel like I was in Japan. The sushi tasted delicious. Takoyaki was decent but a bit saucy. Would prefer less sauce next time. The dynamite roll was dynamite, the tempura was fresh. Highly recommend this place as the service was great.
