Beatnik Art Supplies is a great little store packed with a good variety of art supplies. They are open 11-7 on weekdays except Monday and on Saturday their hours are a little bit different. There is free street parking. It is a friendly place to go and they genuinely seem interested in discussing your art projects and what you may need for them. The prices seem pretty comperable to Michael's, but you don't have to get through all of the craft stuff to find your artistic needs. The best part is that Beatnik is locally owned and operated, so you are helping fellow Windsorites instead of a big company.

Locally owned. Great selection of art and craft supplies at good prices comparable or better than big box craft stores. If they don't have it they are willing to order. Selection of unique brands and products. Knowledgeable and friendly staff.

We went in to buy a specific colour of acrylic paint and a new brush. We had never known of this store's existence, but will definitely go back. There are a great selection of greeting cards from various artists. The owner is an excellent artist. I've just started painting since half through the pandemic but showed her one I had done..them she showed her Dagwood sandwich" up on the wall to me. wow!"

Every time I step into Beatnik I am floored by the quality and range of their art supplies. You might wonder how such a tiny little shop can have a better inventory than a big chain like Michaels-- I urge you to visit and see for yourself. (I am a sculptor, watercolour/acrylic painter, and illustrator.)

Lovely little place! I came in around opening time and purchased a few items. The whole store is ran by a lovely lady and her son who are both artists. All the products are high quality and are backed by them! If you’re looking for an art store in the Windsor area; this is the place.What’s not to love? The prices are good, the staff are friendly, they have cute signs all over the place, and they’re local!
