Barn Angels are just that, angels. They were wonderful when I needed help after my old horse had passed away. They were very compassionate, kind and provided prompt service. I would highly recommend their services. It feels good knowing one day my beloved will be go back to the earth and grow new life again.

Barn Angels were extremely compassionate and understanding when one of our senior horses passed. They were able to come pick him up a few hours after they were called. We really like the eco friendly approach, as well as the trees that are planted for each loved one. Thank you Barn Angels for being there in this difficult time!

These are kind and compassionate people that help our equine community through a difficult day. It's never a pleasant experience to let your trusting companion cross the rainbow bridge, but Amelia and Wesley definitely help ease the way. Prompt return of phone calls and email with all the information you need makes it a little less painful to organise. The whole process is gently explained and you can rest easy knowing the one that nourished your soul will go on to nourish the earth. Thank you Barn Angels for providing such a compassionate service.

I recently organized Barn Angels’ services for a friend and don’t think we could have found a better solution or group of people for the task. If you read through all of the reviews here you’ll see two words frequently repeated—“kind” and “compassionate”—for good reason. From the initial phone call, to answering questions over email and text, through to the actual pickup and removal, Barn Angels were exemplars of the kindness and compassion this industry can so often lack. Amelia and Wesley made it clear through both words and actions that they understood they aren’t just “removing deadstock”; they’re handling and transporting a cherished (and already sorely missed) member of a family as well as providing them with their final resting place. The original plan was to pick up my friend’s horse the morning after the euthanasia as she understandably did not want to be present for it. Due to a severe weather warning they had to adjust the pick up time to shortly after the vet appointment. Wesley sat at the bottom of the driveway, out of sight, and waited until he was sure the appointment was over and the owner was no longer present before pulling his trailer up the driveway. This small act of respect on his part spoke volumes, and it really helped us feel a sense of control around the already stressful situation.Speaking with Amelia, you can really feel that she understands the weight of their role in our horses’ lives and that she still maintains a sense of personal investment in each horse and owner she deals with. She regularly used the word “dignity” in explaining their processes, and it’s easy to see that she truly believes each animal deserves nothing less. She was able to answer all my questions about the process in detail while still maintaining a sense of care and softness in her answers, which I really appreciated.I can imagine it would be difficult to maintain so much care for each client without taking on some of the grief yourself, and yet Barn Angels continues to do so - to the betterment of each owner they interact with. Amelia and Wesley, thank you not only for providing a more beautiful and green solution to our horses’ ends of lives but also for truly being the right people for the job. I wish I’d never have to call you again, but I’m so grateful to know you’ll be there when I do.

I found the people at Barn Angels to be very quick in responding and very compassionate in their approach. While cost was not a significant consideration, they're very reasonable. More importantly, their environmentally-friendly option is much more appealing then traditional disposal options. Thank you so much.

A brilliant service should you ever need it. I lost my beautiful mare to colic yesterday. My vet recommended Barn Angels as an end of life option. I'm very happy with this decision. They provided kind & compassionate care from start to finish. Thank you Barn Angels.

Very caring and compassionate service. I had to put my horse down today, the vet was delayed and arrived an hour after Barn Angels did. Wesley was calm and unhurried, explained the entire procedure to me, and wasn't in a rush to leave, quietly answering all my queries. I was able to be with my horse until the last drive down the driveway. A very positive experience in an otherwise emotionally trying day. I very highly recommend Barn Angels
