POLK -A-DOT Daycare and OSC

my son has been going to polka dot day care for over 2 years now and he and i absolutely love it there the staff is incredible and my son has excelled interaction with other kids the art that they engage the activities that they do with the children ! , i cant say a single a bad thing about this daycare i am thrilled with how my son enjoys going and the things he has learned since going to there !

Our son loves his daycare! They’re always playing, learning and his development has flourished here. He gets so excited to see his teachers and we know that he’s in great care.

I highly recommend going to this daycare. The staff there are very approachable and kind to everyone including parents and children. As well the staff provide a Reggio Emilia programming that gives children a chance to self-direct their learning. The management is also very good and there rates are competitive. This daycare also provides the convenience of breakfast, snacks and lunch. It also has a wonderful outdoor play space the my kids love. This daycare is definitely an amazing place to send your kids.

I would highly recommend Polk-A-Dot daycare . As I'm a first time mom the thoughts of putting my baby girl in daycare haunted me . The staff was so supportive in the transition of becoming a working momma. They understood my tears as I balled my eyes out on her first day there. The staff are so kind, caring, loving , gentle and overall just been so amazing to my girl and the rest of the kids. I love how they supply breakfast, snacks and lunch making getting out of the house by 7 am so much easier . Thankfull I had the opportunity to go to day care a handfull of times with baby girl to make this transition easier. I got to witness first hand how amazing this day care is and how the staff interact with all the kiddos. I honestly never though I'd be at a point where I'm saying that I couldn't be more proud to call Polk-A-Dot daycare a second home for my daughter but they have gone above and beyond making me feel comfortable that this was the best choice.Thank you, thank you, thank you .SincerelyBrittany ❤️

My kids have been going to this daycare on and off since they were in pre-school. While at times there were things that i complained about, I now realise that this daycare was so much more amazing than I gave them credit for. I recently switched my kids to a different daycare with lower fees that was closer to their school simply for the convenience of it and have come to realise how much I took Polka-dot for granted in comparison. Polka-dot always called when my child didn't didn't show up after school just to confirm that I knew they weren't in attendance and to make sure they were ok. They always called me to confirm whether other people were allowed to pick-up my children (like their grandparents) which makes me feel very secure in knowing that they ensure that my kids are not released into anyone else's care without my knowledge or consent. My children were happy at this daycare. They were well fed, well loved, respected and above all they were supervised at all times. When accidents did happen (and lets face it, they do happen) I was always presented with an incident report. If my child was ever injured while playing I immediately got a phone call from the daycare letting me know what happened so that I could decide whether or not they needed to be picked up.Yes, this daycare does have flaws but they are by far the best daycare I have been to and since having experienced what a bad daycare truly is when I took them elsewhere, I fully intend to bring my kids back to Polka-dot.

We have nothing but great things to say about polka dot daycare. All the staff are kind, caring and attentive to the children. The kids get a lot of outside time and a variety of indoor activities. They supply cereal for breakfast for the early drop offs and snacks and a lunch. Our 3 year old really enjoys coming to polka dot every day. Polka Dot has been a great fit for our family.

Under new management and a whole crew of wonderful early childhood educators! Our son loves his teacher and I LOVE the focus on getting outdoors and picking learning themes based on the curiosity of the children form the weeks before.

This daycare does not care about the kids who attend. The teachers and owner participate in minimal activities with the children, they have zero control, dirty surroundings and a very high turn over in staff. The owner is an absolute terror to deal with, very unprofessional and only it in for the money. Her own staff complain constantly about her, the way she runs her daycare and the state of the daycare itself. Many concerns have been brought to her attention and yet she chooses to ignore every one of them. There are specifics but please see for yourself before signing your child or children up here, don't make an appointment, do a drop in visit and see the chaos first hand. It's a toss up between the toddler room or after school care for the worst practices, try to visit both in the afternoons when the kids are bored from no entertainment and old broken toys, and the teachers are either sitting around doing nothing or yelling at the kids. Either way, this is not acceptable. The only reason this daycare is full is because there are not very many choices in the area. I wish more legit daycare centers would open up, but until then, thank goodness I am able to find alternate care for my children.

I really like Polk a dot daycare. The staff is really friendly and love kids. The owner is so nice ,I could not ask for a better daycare for my son. Matthew loves to be at daycare. He learns so many new things there. They have a routine for the kids with activities daily , they supply breakfast, snacks and lunch for the kids.Thank you Alka for all your hard work and carrying for my son, I really appreciate

Thanks you and every other teacher there. Giving awesome care to my baby knowing that she is under good care when I have to go to work is the best thing ever!
