Ming Wo Cookware

We stopped by to grab some spoons and a potato masher. They have a fun selection of stuff and sice we are switching our gas stove to an induction stove ( yes we own a condo) we thought we would browse steel cookware also. They have a fun selection and we even thought about buying a set for a very good tenant we have ( yes we own a 2nd condo)However, have the helper follow us around and the manager also very blatantly keeping an eye on us made my wife so uncomfortable we decided to just take the potato masher and leave. It appeared the girl at the till was so distracted that she didn't notice us there ( I think she was watching security cameras trying to find us)So nice little store with fun selection, but if you are 6 foot 4 and 320 lbs they will follow you around.For the record, I'm not part of the demographic that steals, I'm a very successful contractor.I'd highly recommend shopping elsewhere for anyone reading this. I often go this place because I love kitchen tools. This small is not so big but they have so many products. Aldo, you'll find good discounted price often.

If you like to cook be careful going here as you could empty your wallet even though the pricing is typically better than chain stores.

Great selection of products and really lovely service. The store is pretty well organised and not too cluttered so you can still push a stroller around it.

Went in hoping to buy a few things for the kitchen, both staff members were behind the counter when I walked in, looked at me, didn't smile, didn't say hi, just stared. I looked around for a bit but again, no one acknowledged me at all so I walked out.

Sales staff are unhelpful and rude.There were three sales people at the store. I was looking for a paella pan - the one I was interested in appeared as though it had some scratches and was stained.One sales staff asked me if I needed help. I asked if we could clean the pan to determine if it is scratched. She turned away and just ignored me. The one at the cashier was very helpful and tried to look for a cleaner.I believe the manager (doing paper work) tried to come to help - took a look at the pan - attempted to wipe and just said it’s fine - walked away.If not for the fact that Winners was quite a distance from MingWo on 4th I would not have bought the pan. They did not deserve the sale.I will not come to Mingwo again.Absolutely nil service.

This is the best place to buy kitchen/home stuff in Vancouver. Lots of options with good prices!
