Baynes Sound oysters are consistently the best oysters we can buy in the Interior. They have a delicate sweet ocean taste and there are never any pongy oysters in a tub. Whatever they are doing right, I hope they keep it in up. A National treasure!

Amazing fresh oysters and clams! Stopped here on our way up the island and made for such a delicious meal we routed our trip to stop again on the way home. The pickled herring is unreal!

The oysters are huge (about 5” inches) and great pricing: $1 each or $20 for 2 dozens. The staff was super friendly too. Definitely recommend it!

An absolute MUST to stop here and buy some Oysters. I preppared them myself few minutes in oven to help open them then some nice garlicky basily olive oil and WOW better than popcorn forsure! So buttery it’s delicioso.

I found this gem yesterday and can't wait to go back! I'm new to the island and totally unfamiliar with how to cook shellfish. Joe helped me out in the store guiding me through the differences between the shellfish and how to cook them. Before I left I asked for his business card which I thankfully used not more than two hours later when I ran into some cooking issues. Lol! He talked me through my problem and I was able to serve my very first delicious shellfish pasta!Tonight I'll be making my first fried oysters with the recipe passed on to me from Joe. If you've never been here before you've got to check out this wonderful local business that's been around since 1956!. Great customer service and an all around wonderful experience! Thanks Joe!
