Royal Montreal Curling Club
Went here for a group activity with my colleagues. We took the intro class where they taught us how to curl, and played a couple games. It was super fun overall, but due to the limited time and amount of people, we only got to practise our throwing twice before playing. I would recommend booking an extra hour or two to get more practise time.

We booked for a work social club event and were all first timers. The coaches were wonderful and a really nice time was had by all. We're far from joining leagues -but we all agreed we'd love to try it again.

I cannot say enough about how gracious the staff were when we visited from Colorado. The Club was not officially open but we were allowed to tour the facilities and learn its history. I can't thank the staff enough for giving us such a wonderful experience and helping me fulfill a dream. Merci beaucoup!!

The ice isn't always in the best condition, especially towards the end of the season, but the club itself is quite nice. The washrooms have clearly been recently renovated, and the upstairs is very comfortable.I find the rates incredibly expensive, but given the downtown area where it's found, I understand that they're going to be a bit higher.

Nice location not far from the downtown core. Easy to get to via subway. Lots of fun to be had with a group of friends, even for first timers. Instructor/coach was very helpful to show us the basics. Viewing area has tables and chairs to gather later on for a bite to eat.

Great activity to avoid the winter blues. Prices have become more accessible for young professionals and it's a nice social environment. Beginner curling gear is affordable (you will mainly need the shoes if you're willing to commit) and you can test your interest with the rental sliders.

If you haven't tried curling, you should. It's not a very demanding sport and it's very fun. It's like bowling but more technical and more delicate.The building is very beautiful and has a rich history, the staff are very nice, fun, and professional. There is also ample space to sit.

Well, this is the oldest Curling club in entire North America. 1802 was the year it started. We went here to experience the sport for the first time with a group of 30 and people there were quite patient and polite to make us understand the game. They made us play the game and made sure that we enjoy.Looking forward to play this sport often. :)Tip: if you are going for the 1st time, make sure you are well padded and wear thick clothes as it would be 4° inside the curling gound. Enjoy!
