Hi There. I have been to this Alpha Labs twice in about a week. Brianna was compassionate, helpful and gentle both times. I felt well looked after especially today when I felt so weak. She even got me some water. Another lovely lady went out of her way to do a test for me for which I am enormously grateful. The lady at the desk who is very busy, is well organized and kind. I would just like to thank them all. It is marvelous to have staff who recognize your fears or illness and do what they can to make the experience easier. All the best.

Smooth process, went in for some tests without an appointment and was done in about 30 mins. Receptionist was friendly too (worth mentioning this so many bad reviews about the reception).

I see the mixed reviews here - it's interesting. I can see how the mixup with healthcards could happen. They do ask and verify your patient information before they start working on you. I was a bit concerned as well but was glad that my technician clarified with me my patient details.I have gone to this lab 4 times. Each time was a very positive experience. They accommodated one of my special needs when it came to bloodwork. The technician was professional, fun to talk with and good at taking my blood. I'd come back here again.

Rude staff, they refuse to look at you or acknowledge you. They talk down to you and seem very disorganized. The longest wait times I have ever experienced for a lab. I recommend going to Dynacare labs. They actually smile at you and treat you kindly. Longest wait time I’ve had at Dynacare is 10 minutes. Alpha labs wait times are over an hour.

I had a booked time appointment I scheduled two weeks prior. I mentioned I had a meeting for work. Waited 30mins and wasn't seen. The receptionist was unprofessional the way she spoke with patients. Made it clear she did not like her job. Very unorganized environment.

The staff seem very incompetent - they mixed up my health card and blood requisition with another patient. By the time my blood was taken and labeled, the technician still did not seem confident that she had the correct patient! It is understandable that mix ups can happen, however, this situation was very poorly managed.

The reviews say it all. Manager here is obviously lazy and incompetent. They've moved locations next to the Turtle Jack's, but haven't changed their google maps location. And they don't update with holiday hours, leading you to journey out, not knowing where their office is only to find out that they're closed.If this company had any professionalism they'd hire someone who knows how to manage a business.

I’m not one to give bad reviews ever but I am extremely disappointed in the way my grandmother was treated here. The receptionist was unbelievably ignorant. If you don’t like your job, don’t work at reception. You have no right talking to people the way you do. You’re the face of the lab when people come in and as I can see from other reviews you’ve ruined their experience too. Extremely unprofessional and rude. Do not recommend this lab, stay away at all costs. It’s not worth the stress it put my 90 year old grandmother through.

I was the second person into the office. I said good morning, the lady at the desk looked at me and didn’t answer. I said good morning again, she rolled her eyes at me, and forced the words good morning between her lips.Later while l was waiting an elderly lady with a walker was standing approximately 16 inches from the counter. Another worker arriving late, pushed right if front of her to get past, she didn’t say excuse me, and she well could have walked behind her.My bloodwork was another experience. I have never so much as had a bruise. I have a bruise the size two silver dollars and a lump that looks like a hematoma this morning. I am heading to a hospital now as it is a good half an inch high.l will never go back there.In closing their motto “Alpa Promises: to continuously improve healthcare by finding better ways to serve those who provide it. Read that carefully.Maybe find better ways to care for their clients.

Receptionist extremely rude. She rolled her eyes when the phone rang and was very cold mannered. Clearly does not like her job. I can't say how the actual blood taking was, I gave up after an hour of waiting. There was still four people in line who'd been there ahead of me at that point. The turn around times were super slow. Not sure if it was just a bad day, or if it's always like this... But save your time and go somewhere else.
