We wanted to return the product that we bought but never used, together with its box. They did not take back the product we did not used. Policies have changed recently. They didn't mention this policy when we got it. There are people who create problems, not solve them. Think about it, even the child gets restless and tells you that she doesn't want to buy toys. We don't want to come here. Don't buy anything from here, track your bill and follow product policies very carefully or you could get scammed. We all experience various problems in our business expenses, but as human beings, we empathize and produce analytical solutions. After all, isn't that what separates us from machines? Think again before you come here.

I had the opportunity to work as a seasonal employee at the Hazeldean location. The staff and management made me feel comfortable and part of the team from the get-go. It was a pleasure to work in such a positive environment and I learned a lot within the few short months of my contract. “Above and beyond” comes to mind when thinking about the quality of customer service provided from this particular location, and it was very rewarding being part of such outstanding service. The team and management truly have a way of making their employees feel seen, valued and appreciated. Shout out to 2463! You guys rock!!

It's difficult to say that my shopping experience at Toys R Us Kanata was anything less than extraordinary. I consider the standard of retail excellence redefined, and other stores have some catching up to do. The staff here are second to none, especially a cashier named Dominic who went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for and got me through the check-out lane quickly and efficiently, carrying a bright smile and happy demeanor the whole time. Toys R Us changed my expectations for a retail experience, and I can't wait to be back soon.

Horrible customer service, this time. Showed up a few minutes before closing, not realizing they closed at 7. Just wanted to pick up a quick toy for my daughters friends bday party. Older employee lets us know they close soon, and she can direct us where we need to go if we know what we want. I said we’ll be quick we didn’t know you close soon. Shouldn’t of been a problem, until she came back up to us and demeaned she help us find the toy we are looking for because we need to leave as they are now closed. The rudeness of this woman was absurd. I get that when a store closes, you need to make sure everyone gets out in a timely manner, but you can’t demand I leave 3 minutes after you close!! Whether I get out a 7:03 or 7:10 doesn’t impact when employee’s leave the store I’m sure. Didn’t buy anything because I wasn’t even given the chance to look. It’s experiences like this that make people turn to online competitors, which by the way I’m currently purchasing the gift from there. A lost sale directly related to impatience and horrible customer service.

I bought a water table from the Merivale Location and it was missing a part. I called in spoke with the manager Patrick and received the best customer care. He helped me locate the part at another location and Trevor got me sorted out. Thank you very much!! Great service!!

Great team! we came last minute to buy a stroller and received five star service at the end of working day. Thanks!

NEVER purchase a gift card from Toys R Us... Biggest scam! Everytime I try to use a gift card in store I am told that there is a zero balance. So I end up paying for the transaction myself and I am told to contact customer service. Once I contact customer service via email they advise me that my gift card was used in full the same day I attempted to use it in store and advise the balance that was redeemed was the EXACT amount of my transaction I paid for in full. After questioning further, customer service told me that it's a known issue that store tills nullify gift cards! So at this point, all my gift cards are now null! Absolutely unacceptable!! Warn those you know not to purchase gift cards and if you do have any, don't attempt to use them in store! It's not a surprise this company is going under. What a scam!

Definitely a store you should not choose. We never used the baby carriage we bought, only because the box cover was opened, they did not receive a refund, we did not even take the products out of the bag. When purchasing, they did not say that it cannot be returned, this store does not even deserve 1 star, I would give 0 if I had the opportunity.

Good store. They’ve got everything most of the time. Our kids love this store. Things become a bit chaotic around major seasonal sales and discounts events: expect long queues and low stock on hot items. Staff is very helpful.

Great customer service! The place is like heaven for kids with the variety of toys. It is also great for nostalgic adults/parents! Nice to see smiling employees who are willing to help all the time. It is the only store I ever walked into that made me want to shop at it instead of using amazon.Dakoda is really nice and his fellow employees are as well. You, and employees like you are the reason why we do not purchase the items online and prefer to go to Toys R Us in person to get them.We wanted a chair which was out of stock, and Dakoda went above and beyond to find us one at anothet location and put it on hold for us. Staff always nice and help you if you can't find what you are looking for. Also store is well maintained and staff are good at filling back shelves. Love those special theme events with mascot, due to Covid I haven't seen any lately, but miss them. I joined a picture of me with mascot dated of March 2019.
