Treasure Island Marina

We had a trip planned to the area, with a boat rental being the highlight. I received a phone call at 9am, day before pick up stating the engine on the boat was damaged and they no longer had anything that would accommodate 4 people and a baby; we were offered a Jet-ski for a solution..When I told them that would not work for my group, I was told call around

DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. Been planning this day for a while. Called them at least 15 times on different days and sent multiple emails only to get no response or blank email responses??? When I finally managed to book a sailboat, we drove four hours to get here for 8am only to have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was told I could bring my dogs as long as I paid a cleaning fee and this kid working denied it. The website emphasizes that I didn't need to my pleasure craft operator license to rent (thank goodness I have mine), although these guys corrected me in saying I didn't need one to rent but I need one to operate. That's as if a car rental company told you you don't need a driver's license to rent but you need one to drive?? Why would I rent it if I cannot use it???? Website also states that I do not need sailboat experience as they provide the necessary orientation. I emailed to let them know that I needed the orientation and after my FOUR HOUR DRIVE they decided to casually let me know that they needed to find someone to do the orientation and then quickly turned around and said nevermind we changed that policy. You need one year of sailboat experience. I asked what they're planning to do for me now. They rudely told me they weren't going to do anything and that I'd get a refund. These people do not know how to run a business. They do not care for their customers. They lack basic communication and every policy I've come across was contradicted. Do not go here.EDIT: this was a long time ago so your reply now is pretty useless. If it's that obvious that you can't train someone to sail in an hour, then why did you write that people with no experience need an hour to be trained on your website? Seems like you're the only one that's confused. I read your website and terms and conditions extensively, and also reached out multiple times to notify you that I will definitely need the training.

Great place to rent a sea-doo. Fast and helpful staff had us on the water very quickly.Fantastic location to head out and explore the islands. Just be careful that you know your way back to the marina.

Went to The Cove restaurant. Very friendly accommodating staff. Service was great, considering 20 of us came at once from a funeral. Food was plentiful and good quality. Will definitely go back.

I had planned a very special day and a rented a boat from here. Just 2 days prior to that special day the told cannot have 10 people on the boat! While in their website they clearly mentioned capacity is 10. The more I asked about the reason, the more unreasonable answers I received. For almost 24 hours they put me under a lot of pressure for the day that supposed to be a very memorable day. After talking with owner he allowed us to be there finally. Next step they boat license while they said in the I only need to spend 15 minutes teaching session prior to operating the boat and nobody ask for a license to ride a pleasure craft .Anyway, I only gave 3 stars because of the good experience on the boat finally after a lot of stress

I enjoyed spending the afternoon, the location is amazing and the restaurant beside is very nice. The rental process was very smooth and the staff was very kind. The boat is a bit old but it does the job if you want to explore the area around

Fish was very dry from over cooking.

Walked around a bit and enjoyed the view. Was clean and seamed well organized

As a member of Freedom Boat Club I have had the opportunity to boat out of Treasure Island in 2022. Great facilities, good food and an awesome location for boating. Looking forward to many more great times. Thank you.
