We visited on 3/22/23. Menu was great. Staff were very nice and on top of things. They did speak English also. I had the Assiette mezze for lunch and it was amazing. I forgot to take a picture because I was too amazed by my friends chicken pot pie which they said was amazing! I did get a Burgundy Lion ale and it was tasty. I would go back again but I make a rule when on vacation I don’t go back to the same spot because there is too many other good restaurants out there! This is a highly recommended place, go try it out!!

A very delicious and lively place. The Scotch Eggs and Pot Pies were amazing.Our server Alley was truly outstanding! She was professional, fun, engaging, made great recommendations and was a real gem! I would definitely come back!

I love scotch egg so this place was the draw for me. I’m currently on a tour to find the best scotch egg in Canada. This was a good one but not the best one. The location of this restaurant is pretty central and convenient in historic Montreal. The menu is pretty limited although there are some unique creations I’ve never heard of. The one that surprised us was the chicken tikka masala. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a home run. I think sometimes variety on a menu can work against you. Overall, the prices were reasonable with most meals in the mid $20s. The atmosphere is pretty casual like a regular pub but with the Old Montreal historic feel.

The service was so good that we came back here the next night. Just a comfortable atmosphere with nice ambience and great food. Decent cocktails, too. Not a lot of options if you’re vegetarian, but the one with us enjoyed her platter with hummus and falafel.

was gonna go to another restaurant down the street, but full house, hence ended up in this English pub by chance, but yes like all other review, nice surprise. Waiter was super friendly and explained all the food in detail. We ordered two appetizers and 3 entrees. 2 appetizers were Brussel sprout with apples and lebnah with oranges and beet. Both very refreshing. Pork chop, lamp pastry pie and gnocchi with slow cook ox tail for main. Turns out pork chop was the best for us esp it's sauce. At the end, the waiter said our wait was longer than normal and offered us dessert. Yes, a little longer, but the atmosphere and music was quite comfortable that we didn't mind, esp we were on vacation visiting the area, it was a nice time for the family to hv a great chat. However the gesture was very pleasant....all worth it!

What an epic experience, we were at a few pubs this Saturday night and we were looking for the energy that could be found here. And apparently only here.Like I said great energy, great crowd and music. Absolutely packed. We were only here for drinks, but it’s where you want to end up.Staff are awesome and friendly. Manager Danny is making sure you are having a great time. It’s just the experience you’re looking for.Can’t say enough, give it a go- it might just be what you’re looking for on a Friday/Saturday night.

They were able to get us in quickly and the open air seating was wonderful. Staff was excellent and just attentive enough. Food was well prepared and arrived quickly. Have the chocolate pie but bring people to share with.

Delicious food, exceptional service and delicious professionaly crafted cocktails as well as a great choice of wine and beer, what ales can you ask for?The burger, salon entree, pork and cesar salad were all delicious.We were there on a hockey night so it was a bit loud for our taste but besides that the experience was all around amazing.At some point a gentelman came in with a golden retriever, I was surprised they let him on but the dog was well behaved and instantly become the main attraction.

We stumbled upon this place and so happy we did that we actually came back twice this weekend!Spacious bar that included heated patio and ample seating. Foodwise, it’s a traditional English pub with really tasty and fresh food. We had ordered the Scotch egg and croquettes for some apps to go with our drinks and they were perfection. Drinks were delicious.Servers were really attentive and friendly. Overall, a really fun vibe when you walk through the doors and we can’t wait to come back!

Great bar with knowledgeable and charismatic bartenders. Great vibes inside. Good, inventive drink list. The food was above and beyond what we were expecting. The meat pies are hands down the best thing I've eaten in months. The beef pie was the ultimate pairing for a dark stout.
