Hound and Kitty Toronto

Hound and Kitty is an excellent place to have your pets stay at!At first I was very anxious to leave my two cats alone while my partner and I were on vacation, but Elizabeth was quick to reassure us with her credentials and knowledge that things would go alright. Even from our initial conversations, I could tell that she truly cared a lot about every pet that was staying there (making sure to know their exact feeding schedules, medications, etc) which eased my worries a lot.When I went to drop off my cats, I immediately saw how spacious and welcoming the place was! All of the cats that were staying all looked very comfortable and were showing no signs of distress or discomfort. Despite worrying if my cats would do well, the cageless environment (which is a huge plus!!) did wonders for them!I have absolutely no complaints and will definitely come back again the next time I need Elizabeth's wonderful care.Attached are two photos I was sent during the regular updates Elizabeth provided during their stay.

The level of service and care for the animals at Hound and Kitty is beyond amazing. We got lots of pictures and updates on how our cats were doing during their stay. Elizabeth has an incredible setup and you can tell is a genuine animal lover. I would highly recommend Hound and Kitty to anyone looking for a place your can board your fur babies with complete confidence and peace of mind that they will receive top-notch care during their stay! I'd give it 6-stars if that were an option!

We boarded our cat at Hound and Kitty when we had to go out of town and we could not have asked for a better place. We were a bit worried as our cat would be with other cats and has earned the moniker Mr. Grumbles" from the cat groomer simply because he doesn't like other cats and takes a while to warm up to other people.Elizabeth was fantastic and found a way to integrate our cat with the other cats she was caring for and it looks like our furry feline made at least one friend before we picked him up. Our cat can be very shy but absolutely loved his stay! He adjusted so quickly in the calm atmosphere and Elizabeth is incredibly kind and accommodating. She has all the tips and tricks! Our cat is already looking forward to his next visit.

If I could give Hound & Kitty / Elisabeth 10 stars I would!!!I was going on vacation for two weeks and I was super anxious when thinking about what to do with my cat Dexter, because he needs tons of attention and constant love (we just adopted him a year ago and he had never been alone or without us). Trusting Elisabeth with his care during our absence was the best decision I could have made. He not only was excellently cared for, but he also thrived and had tons of fun with the other cat friends (I know it because Elisabeth sent me tons of updates and pics!!).I can't recommend Hound & Kitty enough. The peace of mind of knowing that our fur baby is going to be well cared for while we are away is priceless, and I couldn't be happier with this service.

Elizabeth at Hound and Kitty looked after our one year old cat earlier this summer, and I cannot recommend her too highly. We were a bit nervous about leaving him for 2 weeks+ since he'd never even been left alone overnight before. She called me to discuss what might be the best option for our cat, and ended up boarding him at her home. It was the perfect solution for us, and our cat really enjoyed hanging out with the other cats she was boarding at the same time. She also sent us regular updates and photos while we were away (I was under standing orders to pass the phone around to my kids as soon as I got any new photos) and he looked like he was having so much fun, that I wasn't sure he'd want to come back home with us (he was fine and adjusted quickly once he was back at home). Elizabeth is very responsive and a pleasure to deal with and we look forward to using her services again next time we go out of town. It was such a relief to find such a great person to look after our cat.

Elizabeth at Hound & Kitty was AWESOME. From the first phone call, to the drop off, caring for my two cats and the pickup she was truly first class. She sent daily updates and photos and is very clearly a great cat mum. My cats had a great time and came home happy. I can’t recommend her enough! I will definitely be a return client.
