Golden Eagle Boat Charters

The sailboat I was on had a near miss encounter with Golden Eagle IV at sea. We had the right of way but had to change course abruptly to avoid being T-boned by Golden Eagle IV. This cascaded and caused another sailboat behind us to alter its course as well. No damage was done but the people onboard the Golden Eagle IV at the time of the incident then proceeded to mock the sailboats as they scramble in the aftermath cause by the Golden Eagle IV. I personally do not know how safe I would feel on a charter that does not appear to understand The International Collision Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea.

We had an amazing time on the boat! It was the perfect setup for a four-hour sunset cruise for 25 people — a great sound system plus lots of tables and coolers for our food and drinks. The Golden Eagle staff were so kind and accommodating. Thank you!!

We chartered with Golden Eagle for a memorial service. It was a great choice - the team was helpful and kind from the moment we started asking questions about a charter and then worked out details ahead of the memorial and then finally on the day of the memorial. On the day of the cruise the weather was quite windy and English Bay was full of whitecaps with smaller boats bobbing quite wildly while our vessel handled the wave action without a problem. Our captain Andre did a great job holding us in position during the memorial despite the currents and waves and allowed us to have a fitting ceremony. We are very grateful and can recommend Golden Eagle to others.

We had a memorial service off of the water near UBC on Sunday morning. The water was calm. The Golden Eagle's captain and his staff were wonderful to us. We had a nice boat trip to and from our desired location. Overall, we couldn't ask for a better way to send off our loved one. Thank you Golden Eagle for making this possible. You can be sure we will look for you when we need you again in the future.

Incredible experience with Golden Eagle Charter, a perfect night for my 30th birthday! Anna was extremely responsive to all questions, the boat was easy to find and such a great venue for any party. Music system on board was easy to use, we could bring our own food and drinks. Would highly recommend and would definitely book again!

Horribly rude staff, very hostile. Safety issues on boat used for our group including engine issues. Boat left late because Golden Eagle Charters wireless payment system wouldn’t connect, docked boat early.

Booked for Monday July 25th 8-10pm.Awesome experience, they allowed us to board a few minutes early to set up a surprise birthday party. The crew was extremely communicative and checked up on us to make sure we all were feeling safe and enjoying our time. Thank you to the crew tonight! We experienced a bit of chop however the captain did give us an option to cruise false creek instead of the choppy water for our party as we had a few elderly onboard with us. Extremely satisfied and would love to book again. The 2 hour promo definitely felt longer. Thanks again

The crew was awesome!! When James was giving the safety orientation, he remembered we were celebrating two birthdays and a PhD graduation and even cracked a few jokes. The boat has an excellent sound system, coolers, and a table all set up and perfect for a party. Fortunately it stayed dry during our cruise but the cabin could have easily fit all 25 of us if we moved the party indoors below. Overall, the best party experience in Vancouver and very affordable. Our usual pride cruise put on by another company seems to have gone under during Covid so we decided to do our own pride cruise. We had an AMAZING time. There's an upper deck, where we spent all of our time and the downstairs (indoor) area. The only issue was the it was so hot and humid in the downstairs area, we didn't really go down there much. No matter, though, because it was a beautiful evening for a cruise. The boat was well kept and the crew were SO NICE. They don't really mingle with your party and pretty much stay out of the way, but if you ever need anything, they're there to help. Truly top notch customer service. It was BYOB which is fantastic and the price included clean up so we didn't have to worry about it when the cruise was over.Overall, it was a FANTASTIC experience. I would highly recommend Golden Eagle Boat Charters to anyone. A+!
