BATL Axe Throwing | Port Lands

If you wanna fee like a real Viking this would be a good start lol cool experience for the weekend, there is many championships and races going on there and if you make it as a champ your name will go on the wall which is pretty cool. the staff is pretty friendly, very informative on teaching you the safeties and axe throwing. There are many lines available side by side so ground league would be cool. There are draft beers, can beers and pops as well as hard liquor. the only complaint I’d have is the prices are a bit too high for what it is. $30 per person just to throw axe is too high to justify. There are maybe parking for 20-30 cars available and some cool t-shirts if you’re into that. Definitely a great experience for both families and friends. If your competitive there is score board for every game you play which allows you to keep score and who is winning. 5 point for the center, 3 points for the middle and 1 point for the outer circle, and if you feel like super pro there are green points that worth 7 points.

Had never been axe throwing before this and I wasn't sure how much fun it would be.. the staff however made our experience an absolute BLAST and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new game or place to spend your time. Great for bringing a date and adding some competitive spirit to the outing. Just make sure you don't make them mad because they will have an axe!

Got to go here as a birthday treat and it was one of the most fun experiences I had downtown. Great atmosphere with instructors who are not only good teachers but we're also fun to be around. Will definitely be coming again with a bigger group

I had such a great time! The coaches were great. They didn’t just tell us how it works but they gave you pointers. This is a great venue if you want to do a work event or just go with your friends! Take pictures, laugh and have fun!

We came for a company event with 10 of us and had a great time! Nate was super accommodating, friendly, fun, and super chill. He gave us tips on how to throw the axes with more accuracy, set us up with a round robin/bracket playoffs game that was super easy to use and track and overall we all had a really great time. The music was great, the drinks were cold, and the bullseye was hit!Definitely recommend going with your company or a group of friends!

It was my first time coming here with a group of friends. We were able to bring our own pizza, but they had a bar there to order drinks. The staff were absolutely fantastic. They gave us good tips on throwing, and just made the overall experience memorable. This was a really good time - even if you're a first timer. I wouldn't hesitate to come here again.It is a bit hard to find. However, the entrance is at the very end of the small parking lot.

By far the best axe throwing place I have ever been to. The team is great. They coach you better than any other place and the score the competition to keep it moving along. Great place

BATL is such a good time! My husband and I used to be a part of the league, and we miss it very much. We recently had our Stag and Doe party at BATL Port Lands and everyone had such a great time! The bar had a much wider selection that I thought, and we all got to throw the big axe, which was fantastic. Special thanks to Brian Starling, who has always made axe throwing fun for us. Brian is the absolute best with his positive vibes, encouragement and sense of humour. Brian does a wonderful job at making people feel welcomed, and he is also great at coaching. If you book an event, I highly recommend asking for Brian! Thank you BATL for an amazing event :)
