Oak Park
We love Oak Park! Our son enjoys the options for play! This park has a great swing set, with 2 buckets seats + 2 tradition swings and a tire swing. There are 2 play structures. One being geared towards kids that are walking to 4ish with a set of easy to climb stairs and height appropriate ladders and slides. The other is better suited to 3-4+. My 3 year old is tall and has practiced on the first structure and now is confidently climbing the ladders on the second structure as there are 3 slides and he loves to slide! In the warm months there is a water splash park available. We did a lot of splashing in the summer!I love that our son enjoys this park. It's always a hit!

Oak Park
Beautiful spot in the neighborhood for a walk. It has large grass fields for soccer, baseball or other outdoor activities. There is also a gravel field, small water park and playground.Dog friendly, but on leash ONLY. Please respect this rule.

Has a great (especially for the toddler crowd) spray park. Water streams are not very aggressive and there is a stream" which is great for staying cool."

Still a good park. Well maintained. Indoor washrooms, waterpark, playground, community center, basketball court and outdoor hockey arena. 5 fields, tennis courts, free parking. Lots of shade. Dogs on leash. Beside oak street which is busier than Boy George's wardrobe.

Water park is open now (COVID). Restrooms are on site, designated free parking is on the north end of this park. Water fountain also working. There is a small but fun playground. Enough grass to run around, some tables and benches. The fence bordering the park on the east is decorated by the tree of life" art project It's just hard to see if you don't look for it."

Oak Park is basically a part of the community Center, Jointly operated by the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation and the Marpole-Oakridge Community Association. They have programs for all ages and abilities, have a preschool, a youth centre, dance and music studios, a gymnasium, multi-purpose rooms, a snack bar, racquetball court, and a fitness centre with sauna and whirlpool. Outside, there is a tennis court, and a water park and playground at Oak Park.

Oak Park
Great park, has a water park for kids and a community garden. Well maintained and no garbage around. On the big plus side is no homeless tents ,crack pipes or needles to be seen which in Vancouver is really rare!!! Fantastic place for family outings!
