Great place to take the family sledding, there's parking if you need it and a variety of hills you can choose from depending on your kids ages. The side closest to the parking lot is generally for younger kids, near the back to the left is for kids 6 and up, and the hill at the back is best for kids a little older as there are some bumps in the hill where you can go faster. All in all its a simple and fun place to go in the winter if you want somewhere to sled

Great tobogganing hills! Small parking lot is the only real drawback. Smaller hill near the lot off Garth, and a bigger hill with a bump on the farther side for bigger kids - the city puts hay bails by the road for safety.

Great place to take the kids in winter to go tobogganing. I've been going here since my early years. They've closed off a lot of unsafe areas and hay bails cover areas close to the roads.During summer season the upper fields are used for soccer. Great place to walk your dog especially the high energy breeds. There are often fireworks during the holidays as well. No fountains, pavilions or benches or any sort since this is a Water Reservoir first and not a park.

If you live close to this place it is great to bring ir kids for a toboggan ride here. Car park gets full so go early

Great for small kids (under 12). Couple short hills, further away there's a lo Ger steep hill (near stone church). Over the years tobogganing was frowned on but they started putting hay stacks by the road just in case. Then it was banned and blocked all the hills, then the ban was lifted and paved a parking lot, fencing off prohibited areas and letting kids finally use the land for something other than retaining water.
