I'd recommend Susan. She is easy to talk to, is non-judgmental and makes me feel comfortable when we meet. Most importantly, she has given me tools to improve my life.

Susan’s website encourages you to call and book an appointment, and I am glad I did so that I won’t wast any time or money there. I, like most people who would call to book an appointment, am struggling with my mental health and am looking for EMDR therapy. On the phone, she was uncaring, uninterested, and rude. I am very vulnerable and have had trouble finding an appropriate therapist, and Susan actively discouraged me from booking an appointment by implying that I would waste her time (because I said I had been looking around). She doesn’t know anything about me or my situation and judged me (inaccurately, might I add). I got the same uncaring vibes from our brief phone call that other people did after paying for sessions with her (look at the other reviews). I wish I would have checked the reviews before I called her.

The unseen scars of childhood trauma affected every aspect of my adult life for decades. The devastation and ruin of my own life had somehow grown to become the burden of everyone else - those I loved - my own family, friends and colleagues.Susan's therapeutic approach was kind and accepting. Her demeanor exudes calm acceptance and a deep knowing.

I've kept quiet about my experience because I want to take time to process it without putting all the blame on Dr. Rosenblum. So this is what happened:I had 2 sessions with Dr. Rosenblum. She was nice but was personally not a good fit for me. I had a 3rd session scheduled but wasn't sure whether I should just keep that last session / cancel it last minute. I was really struggling with my mental health at the time and because she wasn't a good fit for me, I finally decided not to attend the 3rd session. I called Dr. Rosenblum in the morning, the day of my 3rd session multiple times to try to cancel it but she did not pick up (I'm assuming she was busy).I tried calling every hour and she eventually picked up. I told her I didn't think we were a good fit and I will not be able to attend the 3rd session. She then told me repeatedly that what I did was not okay and extremely unfair to her other clients who need her more. I felt so guilty because I thought I took up space. I felt that I was not valued as a patient of hers and that my problems are not severe enough to warrant her compassion.She did tell me that I can negotiate the cancellation fee and pay less but I already felt really attacked so I decided to just pay the full price.My anxiety got so much worse because of this incident and I was extremely hesitant to look for other mental health resources because I was scared the same thing would happen.I've accessed multiple mental health resources & professionals before & since then, and none of them has treated me this way nor did they demand a cancellation fee (regardless of negotiation).I'm sure Dr. Rosenblum has helped many people. I'm just hoping that by sharing my experience, she can make adjustments accordingly.

Susan was a skilled therapist that provided my family and I with great help during a very difficult time. We are extremely grateful.

My experience is from an observation of how she communicated and treated a patient with anxiety issues.An email was sent the day before the appointment for cancellation; a factor being wasn't compassionate and the way she communicated with the patient gave the impression of neglect and not priority.A cancelation fee was demanded as a result where profit superceded compassion and customer service.While I have experience with witnessing a variety of therapy id say I was very unimpressed with the outcome this had on a the patient.My recommendation would be to do research, call up multiple therapists to find someone who fits what you're looking for however, I am not impressed and what I personally witnessed this and my opinion based on what I witnessed was as low quality" & "unorofessional" as no therapist should be causing additional issues for a patient with how they treat them.Be careful everyone."

Susan is very empathetic and knowledgeable. She was very helpful.I highly recommend Susan.
