I went here to buy a rake. I parked on King St. I entered from King St. No one was at the register. I walked the length of the store hoping to be greeted by someone. No one greeted me and I didn't see rakes so I went to leave. There is a sign on the door that says door locks automatically please ask for assistance" and sure enough it was locked when I pushed it. I will never go here again. I am outraged that they think they can lock people in their store without people knowing. I heard a voice from the back say "try it again" and it was open. So I was probably being watched on a camera instead of being greeted. Disgusting lack of customer service

When in Preston, I always enjoy going into Bowman’s Home Hardware. For being a smaller sized hardware store, they do get a lot of various products in stock that will satisfy most shoppers.What they don’t have can then perhaps be found in a larger box store. But I usually don’t experience that as they do carry quite the variety. In fact, on occasions, I have found certain items that they did have in stock verses the big box stores that did not have that product I was after. Goes to show size is not everything!The most appealing for me of this store is it has that warm small town feel that I like very much and why I like going there. The staff is another reason as they are all accommodating and very friendly.If in Preston, Cambridge please stop by and experience the great atmosphere of this store.

Todd and the gang here have been the best through the lockout. In my opinion they have been doing it way better than the big box stores. Recently had a day where I made 5 trips to the store. Everyone was extremely patient with me and helped me get my job done. Drive up to the back door, tell them what you need, an employee gets your stuff and you're on your way. Keep up the great work guys!

Kudos to this Home Hardware...needed a new wiper blade, not only did they have one, they also installed it for me...great curbside pick up and fantastic customer service. Happy Happy!Giving another 5 stars, as usual, this location and staff helped this woman out so as she will not get a ticket. I don't know what else to say but thank you to this home hardware and staff, great customer service!!! KUDOS!!! Thanks for being there and open during this pandemic.

Friendly staff and always willing to offer suggestions and advice on products and diy work. Good quality products and home brands like Benchmark and Beautitone stand up against major brands. I enjoy the small town" shopping feel as opposed to wandering through big box stores and always feeling tired afterwards."

Looking to make a purchase at a hardware store well I can say without a shadow of a doubt this is the place to go!!! A hardware store with a comfort home feeling that will accommodate your wants and needs if humanly possible. My father-in-law went to buy a wood splitter, it was ordered and delivered in a timely manner. It turned out not to be exactly what was expected of this particular product and Todd was more than pleased to work with us to get us exactly what we need. Great place with outstounding customer service.

This location is run by amazing people who go out of there way everytime I go in there! Recently during the curbside pickup only, I was able to purchase plumbing items with the super helpful advice of the owner. Such an amazing man! Thank you for all you do. Your staff is so friendly, kind and patient. I left feeling great. This level of service is needed so much everywhere and I hope you and your team is rewarded for that. Appreciate you and I will see you soon I am sure!
