Kosoo Korean BBQ in Coquitlam
Food was delicious! Experience was fun with the bbq and service was great and friendly. Everyone was happy to be working there and worked as a team to serve my family and I. The waitress took special attention to place hot food away from my 2 year old nephew.She did all the being for us so we could sit back, relax and watch. Only thing I’d suggest would be to marinate the bbq meat a little bit more. Over it we had a wonderful time.Thanks for having us!

Kosoo Korean BBQ in Coquitlam
Fantastic new restaurant in Coquitlam that shows their seasoned experience in both food and service quality! Differing from the other Koosoo branches, this restaurant focuses on Korean BBQ style meals and did not disappoint. We ordered the “short rib combo for 2” and it fed three of us and was incredibly delicious. The set came with 2 bowls of rice, a set of raw crab legs,the titled short rib, a salad, soup and of course the classic set of Korean side dishes (Kimchi, Sprouts, Potatoe). Additionally the atmosphere was very comfortable, notably the arrangements of comfy booth seating, and the staff were immensely welcoming in serving, preparing and chatting tableside. All in all, a great new restaurant in the Coquitlam core that is a must try :)

It’s already my 3rd time visiting here, first and second time for food (of course) and third time for my son’s birthday, always enjoying the food and the service.As a local Korean, I am always glad to see Korean restaurants nearby me. Even through there are many K-restaurants around Coquitlam, for now, I would say this one is the best.Thank you for the awesome service and food!

I went with my sister for dinner and got the pork belly for 2 with soju deal and a chive pancake. The service was great! Unlike other KBBQ places, they did the grilling table-side.The servers were nice and attentive. Our server recommended we try having some wasabi with the grilled pork belly— I thought it was unusual but it turned out to be a great combination! I’ll definitely come back! I think I’ll try the set combo next time!

WOW, Super authentic Korean BBQ right here in Vancity. BEEF Intestine Set is a must have it tasted almost exactly identical (if not better because the portion was huge) this popular joint in Hongdae, Seoul. They did a great job making it tender and brought the nice aroma to it. Not to mention, they had this special powder which I’ve actually never tried before but OH MAN it brought the flavor to the next level. Honestly, it was so much more affordable than other Korean BBQ places in Vancouver. Did I mention they have crazy good side dish? Their Nangmyeon (cold noodle) is a must try and goes so well with the meat as well. Apparently they make their own soup base which is very rare even for restaurants in Korea. All in all, I am 100% satisfied with their Real Korean food made by Real Chefs. I just wish they were closer to DT but then they have two regular branches… but I’ll make my way down Coquitlam for their BBQs.

The meat portion was ridiculous small. Even my toddler wanted more meat after 2 sets menu. She could probably finish 1.5 set of meat herself. Each set of menu is one slice of meat….. cut it to about 10 small bites! The veggie included is only enough for one person. Super small portion of mushroom. I think the $ spent is more on the rent Or service to the chef/server as they cook the meat for you… If you are looking for a bbq place that’s more high end… and not a big meat eater. Then yeah maybe good…. 2 set menu is definitely not enough!! Be ready to spend at least $80 per person. $$$$$May be good for downtown Vancouver but definitely not something you would expect in Coquitlam.

I've been here before it was Korean bbq, and they did a lot of work on the inside! Everything is really nice and clean, with a chill vibe. The staff are amazing, and the food is pretty on point also. Although we didn't cook our own food on the BBQ like normally, the food was served cooked, not complaining was kind of nice, actually. For all the side dishes you get, it's definitely worth the price. I am sure we will be back and definitely recommend trying this place out.

The cold noodle called nangmyeon was so delicious, atmosphere was amazing, and staff was really nice as well.I had my birthday party and spent super meaningful time with my friends.

First time here and celebrated my brother’s father’s day celebration with family.The food was tasty, great portion and beat of all, the service was wonderful. All staff were attentive, friendly and cheerful.Highly recommended. All members of my family loved this new place.The only issue is parking. street parking or park in the Henderson area. But At this point, since it’s almost summer, it’s worth a little walk to this great family place.

I had the most amazing experience at the Kosoo Coquitlam location! The service was impeccable, and the food was delicious and authentic. The restaurant had a nice ambiance and a very clean environment. I already visited multiple times since their soft opening. I would definitely recommend Kosoo to anyone who loves authentic Korean food.
