I've taken 3 classes so far and have loved them all. Ian is a great instructor and makes the classes fun, interactive, comfortable and he gives you the freedom to express your individual creativity. Definitely worth the time, the money and value! Top notch and so lucky to have such a professional, artistic studio in Victoria.Here is a pic of my recent goat's milk soap. I can't wait to try it soon!

Ian and his partner are amazing teachers and workshop leaders. I have had 3 great classes with Ian; Beeswax Candle making and 2 soap workshops. I was amazed how much we accomplished in 2 hours and the value for money was very good.You leave the soap classes with a full loaf of soap (to be cut into 8 - 10 bars) and the knowledge to make more at home. Ian loves to share his knowledge and is a very interesting and fun teacher.

I took the Soy Candlemaking Workshop and it was fantastic! The size of the workshop was small but big enough that it didn’t feel like a tutorship (so basically the perfect size). Ian was our instructor and he was very helpful in leading us through the steps. He was also very amusing and engaging with everyone. The selection of fragrances was a bit overwhelming but if you know what you like, you’ll find something for you. I really enjoyed the class and am looking forward to picking up my candles! I can see this becoming a new hobby for me!

I had a great time at the soy candle workshop! I had never made candles before and wasn't sure what to expect, but Ian was incredibly detailed and thorough in his explanations and I learned a lot throughout the process. It was also fun to choose the colours and scents out of a wide variety of options. Overall, a really friendly and warm atmosphere, and I will definitely be returning for future workshops!

Went to the beginner soap making class yesterday with some neighbour friends. It was so much fun and I learn't so much. Ian who was our instructor was great in teaching us with handouts to go home with and 12 bars of soap to boot. Ian was very personable and enjoyable. Thanks Ian! Will be back in the store next week for a refill soap kit to do at home.

I have attended 3 workshops so far. Basic soap making, shampoo bars and lotions & creams. Each workshop is so well organized and Ian is very good at moving the group along at a steady pace. I thoroughly enjoy the workshops, the products and the pride of knowing I made them! I’ll be attending many more in the future.

I attended 3 private workshops and I enjoyed all of them. The classes are a good combination of both theory and practice. Ian adjusted the content to the participants’ requirements and objectives which made the sessions extremely valuable and relevant.
