Cogeco Connexion

I have been a cogeco customer for 5 years. Recently decided to cut back as the cost was too high so i asked for a lower package. They said due to loyalty i could have a new modem and new pods, and pay a lower price. I agreed. For the last month since receiving the new equipment, the internet has been AWFUL. I gave called and complained numerous times and they were very unsympathetic. I work from home so having poor and unreliable internet is not an option. They sent two wifi-extenders, which i installed and have done zero for the internet just randomly cutting out. Then i was on a business call and the internet jsut stopped, completely cut out. I called for techincal support and their brilliant idea was to unplug and replug back in, as if i hadnt tried that already. Next idea was pressing reset button, which again i obviously had tried. Next i was told i was out of luck and would have to wait until the next service member was available to come to my house....even though i work from home and cant stop, and im in graduate school with papers do that i cant complete with no internet. Result: left cogeco. My parents also left cogeco due to similar problems. Overpriced and underserviced. Overall big headache, horrible experience, and theyve lost me as a customer. Which they probably dont care about, but should.

I have been a loyal cogeco customer for 12 years and sadly cancelled my services today! We fell behind during covid after a decade of never missing a payment and I regularly had used promotions to keep my bill down well when ur behind they dont allow u to use promotions! I have been paying 285 for basic cable and internet for almost 3 years!! Calling payments in regularly continuously making payment arrangements and having my services disconnected sometimes with paying 400 per month over a few payments!! Today after being disconnected on Friday afternoon after making an online banking payment monday evening calling it in tuesday with another arrangement for the following Tuesday and not having my services connected and spoken too like a peasant by the supervisor as if my payment history doesn’t speak for itself I had no choice! I signed a contract with bell and will actually be receiving an amazing promotional rate and a proper amount of services for my money! You lost a 12 plus year customer today because your staff is rude and your rates are unmanageable not to mention how you deal with customers coming out of a 2.5 year pandemic and insane inflation!! I will never recommend your services to anyone ever! So disgusted with how I was treated and how much money Ive wasted

A new service has been installed so we can't comment on the long term but it has been good so far. The technician was great, Fast and knowledgeable. We were hoping for Fibreoptics but it was just a new modem same cable, we will see how long term but great so far.

We had the absolute best service from Cogeco today. Andrew was really great at installing our new modem & gave us the best support. Our internet in our new house was up & running within an hour. I'd highly recommend Cogeco.

I am a cogeco customer for the past 2 years. Cogeco provide internet service to my house and I am really satisfied with the experience. Cogeco has provided me a plan that suits my need and they offer value for money. The speed and coverage of connection is good.

We've been a customer for a few years now. As our needs change they've been accommodating with upgrading or downgrading our services. The loyalty department has been helpful with keeping the value of their exceptional services affordable. I've tried other ISP's with lower prices but come with more headaches. Will be a customer for a while.

The recent storm knocked out our one Cogeco box and we received a replacement the next business day. I called the toll free number and got through to an agent almost immediately and he walked me through the new setup. The hassle free return is great and no cost to me. We switched from another big name company that we had nothing but problems with. I spend far less and get far more - not just money but Canadian expertise and exceptional customer service!

internet, Cable tv and Home Fibre Optic landline service, all reliable excellent quality. Prices comparable to others, but loyalty offers are very good. As with any other provider of any service, however, when having issues, if you find you have to talk to more than one representative, be it customer service or TECH support, CONFIRM WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD BY THE PREVIOUS PERSON. Not everyone knows everything but when you're told the exact same information by TWO service reps and ONE tech support guy, and they're ALL WRONG, well, let's say you just keep trying. But honestly, I wouldn't have any other provider.

We had unexpected financial problems and our account was past due. The collection agent was extremely courteous and helpful. Then I spoke with another agent because I was going to cancel our services. That agent was also extremely courteous and helpful. He reduced the price to something affordable while keeping all of the services we had. The regular Cogeco prices are too high, but most of the other providers charge too much. Cogeco agents have always been polite and helpful whenever we called them. Infrequently, a glitch cuts off services, but it gets repaired quickly. Again, every provider has the same problem at some time. Other than the regular high prices, we’ve always been happy with Cogeco. I recommend Cogeco as long as they offer you a reasonable price
