Cape Breton Lake Cottages

Stayed here while golfing at Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs. Amazing responsive hosts, immaculate cabins with a breathtaking lake view. Wood heated hot tubs were delightful after a long day of golf. 100% returning, and recommend for families and anyone who loves nature, peace, and great hospitality.

Beautiful little cottages. Well cared for with great access to the lake and beaches nearby. The wood fired hot tub was a great addition. The owners were very knowledgeable about the area so it helped with making the best of our time there. A beautiful place to put your feet up and relax. We spent 2 weeks teavelling the maritimes and this was our most relaxing stop.

Have been once a few years back, and thankfully have booked a week this August. My uncle went last summer, I know the cottages are in the exact same immaculate condition, with the same incredible and quick to answer any issue or question hosts, Kelley and Kirk. This is a genuine Cape Breton couple, with deep community roots and an obvious love of the land and culture. The lake, oh the lake! I could talk for hours. Eagles soaring continuously, dipping down to grab a fish, the solitude, the beauty. The peace and quiet, the relaxation, and the Cape Breton ease and relaxed pace.I will be back every chance I get, and this is where I will stay❤️

Cottages have everything you need and are every comfortable. Lovely spot to sit and take in the view of the lake.

this summer we had the pleasure of staying at Cape Breton Lake cottages in both the Eagle cottage and The Snug tiny home on 2 separate visits.The Eagle was comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed whether we wanted to stay inside with Netflix and our electronics or go outside and enjoy the beautiful view on the deck. The cottage was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were greatful for the AC as well.The deck right at the water's edge was heaven. Our next visit we loved the novelty and the esthetic of the tiny home .The full size bathroom was unexpected and wonderful after a day in the sun and a kayak on the lake.This little gem has everything you could possibly need for a weekend getaway.We plan to spend more time here as the accommodations, view and owner/operators and their sweet pooch made our stay as lovely as possible.

Loved my stay at Cape Breton Lake Cottages! I stayed in the Birdie cottage and it was so clean, comfortable, and we'll stocked. Watching the eagles hunt for fish while I enjoyed my morning coffee on the deck was the best way to start each day. I loved kayaking on the lake and sitting by the fire at night and a hot tub before bed. What a gem, 10 minutes to Cabot Links! I am planning a trip east with some golf friends and we are all excited to stay with these great hosts and of course their unforgettable pooch Zoe.
