If you want a cowboy hat this is the place to go! Free street parking right out their front door. It’s a lovely building with the store displaying a great selection of hats, an events room, an new area to work with a hat designer and of course the area with all the machines to build your hat. They have hats for everyone. Starting around $40.00 up to $540.00+ depending on what you are looking for. You can pick a ready made hat off the racks or build your own custom hat. They have feathers, hat bands, boot jacks, hat jacks, travel hat boxes, and hat cleaning supplies. The staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and very helpful no matter your hat needs.

I've never owned a cowboy hat A friend took me to Smithbilt Hats and just walking in I was immediately impressed. I was greeted by Mike who took me through the process step by step. I was shocked by this young dudes level of customer service. Amazing experience and love my hat. Great purchase and can't say enough about the service and knowledge

Excellent experience! Cody and Kyle were a great help when I stopped by the shop. Lots of selection, and the quality is unmatched compared to other options in the city. Spent a bit more than I had anticipated, but it'll be a hat that'll last me a lifetime, perhaps even longer! So well worth the price in terms of service and quality

Finally made it! Very nicely appointed store. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Get your hats in for cleaning. Two weeks before Stampede and there is a backlog. Will visit again.

Morgan was a great help a Spectacular representative of your company. He helped my wife pick out a hat that would fit her properly. We were there during stampede and it was very busy And he directed her to where she needed to get her hat shaped and pick out a hat band. She had a great experience And we would return again.

Hot damn, Smithbuilt, you done tidied up some of my hat collection right nice! Scruffy dirty lookin hats that Richard at the shaping bar did a spectacular job of. Looks like new hats but comfortable like old ones. Cool place with all the separate bars stations for service too.

Just received my new beaver 20X felt cattleman cowboy hat, thank you so much! I absolutely love it, perfect fit and looks fantastic! The workmanship is outstanding. I have been wanting a new hat for ages but nothing available here in Australia had the 'look' that I really wanted, even the Akubra hat which Australia is famous for, didn't look right on me. But then my sister got me hooked on your iconic show; Heartland, and once I saw the Smithbilt hat with the cattleman crown and shovel shape, I knew that was what I wanted. So once again, thankyou so much to the team at Smithbilt, I am extremely happy with my hat, and I know it's going to be much loved for many years to come. I will definitely be recommending you guys!

Buy yourself an Iconic western hat! I bought myself a hat from here yesterday. Cam came and help me as I was walking up the stairs. Was an amazing experience! They really do go above and beyond. Staff was friendly and made you feel at home. Had to buy my wife a hat from here too. And after alittle encouragement. Got my daughter a hat. Store was closed for a function at this point and they STILL welcomed us in! Completely recommend this store

Bought a hat here a few years ago and still love it. I get complimented all the time on it. The hat buying experience was fantastic. They made sure I was buying the right hat and colour, not just the hat I wanted. They paired me with a hat that complimented my hair colour and eye colour. Worth every penny.
