Awesome place. Coming from Toronto, with loads of different barbers, it was hard to find a place that did it the way my old barber did down in the city. John was professional, extremely friendly, and worked with the exact style I wanted. Ill be going back every time now. It does take a little not, but it is well worth the wait

Have to update my review. Been going to John since the beginning over on 1st ave and regularly been going back every 2 months since. It's been great to see the progress and can't recommend the shop enough. John's started to offer hot towel shaves and has to be one of the best and enjoyable experiences. Old school barber feel with new school styles. If you're thinking about trying it out don't even question it just do it!

I felt welcomed right from the start of the experience with a firm handshake. Very modern and relaxing place with very good music playing. I booked with John and he was amazing! The attention to detail was insane. Though Noah didn’t cut my hair, I saw him cutting other customers hair and he was very good as well. Both of them seem like they really enjoy and take pride in their craft. It’s an experience I’ve never experienced in Owen Sound and would highly recommend!

Been here 3 times now, great shop.Been going to Noah, it's clear he's got a passion for haircuts. Staying current with new tools/techniques, and actively looking out for how his cuts grow out over time.Schedule is a bit busy sometimes since I can't always plan ahead, but flexibility of checking it online is great, same-day booking today!Highly recommended

I took 2 of my boys to Johns Barbershop for a haircut tonight. What a fantastic haircut and experience. My boys were greeted with a hand shake and absolutely loved their time spent in the barbers chair. We will definitely be back for more haircuts.

A handshake and a welcome as soon as you walk through the door. Great atmosphere, great guys, and great fades. John's Barbershop is an experience that Owen Sound has been lacking for a long time. 'Blending' modern methods with traditional barbershop values set John and Noah apart from any other hair place in town. Their online booking process is seamless and simple with the ability to book time slots allowing them to take the time needed to make sure everything is perfect before you leave the shop. A true barbershop experience. 5 stars + from one of their newest regulars.

Did a great job on my haircut and I had 2 years worth of hair to cut. Made sure to ask me questions during the haircut to make sure it turned out exactly how I wanted it. Had me all cleaned up in no time and very happy customer. Friendly environment, professional and knowledgeable staff, and you can't beat the prices A+++. Thanks once again John and Noah! My 7 year old son and myself have been going to see John and Noah for a few years now! My son being 7 wiggles a lot in the chair and Noah just roles with it! He keeps him entertained by always asking about movies he has seen or something to do with super heros etc to keep his mind off the task at hand very professional and has lots of patience and a great memory of what they talked about last time he was in.While my son is getting his cut done I am usually in the other chair with John. John does a great job and always communicates with you as to what he is doing. Always professional and always a good barber shop" convo about sports
