Although it was very busy and short staffed for the an influx of people they called in another staff and all went well. Excellent food, service and we were therefore an impromptu guitar duo of friends. Dinner and entertainment. This was wonderful as my husband is a musician,so we really enjoyed our time. Will definitely go again, and will bring some friends.

I have travelled to many cities, towns, and villages. Of those, this is the only place that has ever welcomed me to the community. It's a stone feeling at first but it feels great. I haven't given out a five in a while.I also want to give the employee Sarah Do a shout-out for being brilliant. Expedient service, answered all our questions about Gagetown, and had banter. Absolute delight, made my day.

My family & I went here for dinner and we ordered a chicken BLT meal. When it arrived it was missing the chicken. When I brought it to their attention they fixed the mistake sending out a new chicken BLT but as you can see in the photo attached, the chicken was NOT COOKED!! Thankfully I caught it before my 8 year old ate it. When I shared this with the waiter they were initially very apologetic and refunded the meal, but later proceeded to argue that it was “over cooked” …. Very disappointed with the service and food today.

service was THE WORST I have ever had at any establishment, the server could not get any of the orders correct, she tried 3 times to get it right but still failed to accomplish such an easy task. if you go there and have an old lady names Lee, just ask for another server or leave, woman was as bright as a burnt out light bulb. she would screw up a single order of a simple glass of water. food was great service was HORRIBLE.

Decided to order takeout from the old boot pub for supper.We ordered:1 large fish and chip2 small fish and chip1 cesar salad1 jalapeño poppers1 full order of onion ringsService: The employee who answered the phone was prompt & pleasant. I initially tried to order deep fried pickles but unfortunately they didn't have any. The employee offered the jalapeño poppers as an alternative, so glad I ordered these because they were delicious. Our order was ready in half an hour!Serving Sizes: The serving sizes are great. The onion rings are huge and very filling. Large pieces of fish and great amount of fries. I ordered the full size cesar salad which was great for myself however I'm not sure if this portion would be enough as a side for family order.Fish & Chips: My husband had the large fish and chip and it was cooked perfectly. Nice golden brown batter, and tender juicy pieces of fish on the inside. He had poutine for his side which was made with yummy cheese curds and golden crisp French fries. I love how perfectly cooked French fries can significantly elevate your meal!Poppers & Rings: We shared the poppers and onion rings. Onion rings are amazing. Large slices of onion coated in a yummy batter. Crisp on the outside and just enough fluff on the inside. Served with 2 dipping sauces. The poppers were also crisp on the outside and juicy & cheesy on the inside. Served with a dipping sauce. SO yummy.Atmosphere: This is a perfect spot to grab a bite on the go or sit in. They have outdoor seating along front street and I believe a patio outback facing the water. Perfect to watch the boaters come and go. I've only been inside twice to attend trivia on Thursdays but both times it was fun and entertaining. Servers were prompt to offer food or drinks!If you're in the Village of Gagetown this is definitely a place to check out.
