Pink Pearl
I would give Pink Pearl 4.5 stars, which is still stellar. They had all our favorites and everything was made well. My daughters especially loved the steamed BBQ pork buns, baked BBQ pork pastry, and the shrimp dumplings. The sesame balls were also perfect. I did a lot of research on Vancouver dim sum before our visit, other places have good reviews, but had less items on the menu, didn’t have our favorites, or the photos showed the other places were not the Hong Kong style. We also visited New Mandarin (very fancy atmosphere compared to the Pink Pearl fancy atmosphere) and although they had some fancy offerings, we liked the food better at Pink Pearl. Both look like they can entertain large parties/celebrations but Pink Pearl is definitely larger. The servers were very attentive and friendly at the Pink Pearl, we also enjoyed the house tea.

I ordered too much but I could eat the leftovers the next morning and they’re still good. Everything was delicious. The best one is the shrimp stuffed tofu. The tofu was soft and silky. The sweet and hot sauce was perfect on the tofu. We’ll definitely be back here when we visit Vancouver again in the future.

This place is not cheap but I will come back because:-food portions are good-food is great-service is good-comfortable dining hallThe staff were very efficient. We arrived right at noon on a saturday without reservations. We were seated within 1 minute and we had our food on our table within 3 minutes by distribution of the dimsum carts!I'm awed at how many food carts came around and well stocked with a variety of goodies. We also ordered from the paper menu and had fresh food arrive very promptly.Thank you to the staff and manager (s) here for providing quality food and service; both of which I find are becoming more rare and rare these days with other restaurants.

My go to Dim Sum restaurant!! Large restaurant so never have to wait to be seated. They have both push cart and order menu so you tend to eat too much. The foods are fresh and warm all the time.Their deep fried squid and honeycomb tripes are must tries. I like their desserts such as egg tarts, goji berry jello, and sesame balls, too.

I hadn't been to Pink Pearl for dim sum in years and my wife suggested we try it again because her co-worker recommended it. We were greeted by a friendly gentlemen who showed us to our table and asked us for our choice of tea. It was a blast seeing that they still had food on the dim sum carts. Not only did we order on the sheet but we also added some items from the cart, thing we probably would have never tried. The food was very good! I was honestly surprised by the incredibly friendly service from all the staff. I don't know if I've ever gotten better service at dim sum before! Everyone was helpful when we asked about the items on the carts and were quick to bring clean bowls for our dessert or refill our water and tea. And when we left many of them thanked us for coming and said goodbye. I will definitely be returning here soon!

A staple to the area for many years and one of the few that still offers push-cart dim sum service. The restaurant is huge and they have a nice selection of dishes.If you don't see the dish you want on the carts, you can always order it from their menu.

Good selection of traditional dim sum prepared very well and good servings. Large restaurant that is good for large groups. Come early for best selection and lots of push cart offerings.

It’s been many years since I’ve been here and it was pretty busy for weekday dim sum but the space is large so it want crowded at all.Prices average almost $10 and up so the 5 items we ordered came to @ $55.One of the few dim sum restaurants that still come around with the carts so you can see what you’re getting.The Har Gow are large with nice pieces of shrimp inside and not a shrimp “paste”.We also ordered Ham Sui Gok (not pictured).The chicken feet were very tasty and a new item we had were the Mushroom Dumplings that were loaded with mushrooms.Today they were offering boxes of blueberries for $25 (not sure weight).Parking is ample with front and side areas.
