I ordered a lens online from Henrys. I could have purchased the same item on Amazon.ca for 10$ less and free one-day shipping. I guess I was trying to encourage a local Canadian company, but this was a terrible idea. First, it took Henry’s 10 days to process my order (charge my credit card) and another 7 days to ship the item. It took another 3 weeks for Canada Post to deliver my item! Total: almost 5 weeks for a lens to leave Scarborough (Ontario) to be delivered to Ottawa (Ontario)! Impossible, unacceptable delays. Of course, the only thing Henry’s can say is that they are a family run business, which means nothing...I then tried to return the item, and this was not easier. They avoided answering my emails, did not provide correct information, so I ended up keeping the lens. Such a waste of time. Never, never will I ever buy again at Henrys.
