MCK Kitchen & Bath

We went to MCK based on a recommendation from our tealtor. We were not disappointed! From the moment we met with Susan in the store to the final day of install, the whole process with MCK was wonderful! Tony designed a beautiful and functional kitchen. Mark kept us informed of the cabinet fabrication and process. Thomas and Tiffany (The Dream Team) we’re just a delight to watch install the kitchen. They were perfectionists and just down-right fun to have in our home. The whole entire process was stress free, informative and good value for the money. Designing our kitchen with Ann was like sitting down with your bestie to plan your kitchen. Ann envisioned what I wanted and added some beautiful surprise elements that I wasn't expecting, but were totally to my taste. Ann was very intuitive. The installers Eric (thank you for your service to our country) and Timothy were so helpful and accommodating as well as perfectionists. Never felt rushed with the design or install. Class act all around. My only regret is that I didn't work with Ann of MCK for my last kitchen!

We recently had our kitchen updated and I had to share the experience. Right from the start the whole process was professional. Our Kitchen Designer Clemence was knowledgeable and helpful and ensured every step ran smoothly. The “T” Team of Thomas and Tiffanne installed the cabinets in our home very efficiently and made sure everything was just right before they left. The gentlemen from Jade Stone measured then installed the perfectly fitting new countertops earlier than expected. The worksite was left neat and tidy by all. While renovations can be stressful, this experience went smoothly with very little disruption. Thank you very much to all involved!

MCK kitchens did an outstanding job from beginning to end. They came to our home, listened to our ideas, took some measurements and called us back within a week and showed us the digital plans. We loved it. And they took care of everything, including the removal and disposal of our old kitchen. They were always accurate with their timings. No delays. Everything was made easy with no added stress. A big shout out to Wendy who kept things on track and gave us exactly what we wanted..a beautiful kitchen. Thanks!!

We wanted to get a new look on our kitchen and did some looking around for quotes. MCK Kitchen and Bath was one of the quotes we received. The quote came in the middle of the three, however that was not the only reason we went with them. MCK gave us the best overall value for our money. We had so many questions and Tony was able to put our concerns to rest because he was so knowledgeable with the products. Tony also recommended a contractor who again was very knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable with him and his crew. The timeline was met by all involved. There were a few small issues after the fact and MCK provided exceptional and prompt after sale service. We have had our kitchen back now for a few weeks and we couldn't be happier with everything.

Through insurance, I used MCK for renovations due to a fire that happened in 2018 while we were renting out our house. The cabinets and island look great but we've had to re-attach one of corner pieces on the island, fix/adjust a couple of the soft-close hinges and currently our cupboard above the fridge has shifted and is now scraping the top of our fridge when we open/close the doors (worse on the left). We lowered our fridge a bit to resolve the problem. All in all relatively minor stuff.The main reasons for the 2 stars are because our countertop (which we upgraded and paid extra for) did not have the proper number of holes put into it initially and there was some hesitance with them coming back to fix it but they ultimately did. In addition, there was a corner of our island countertop broken off and repaired which we weren't told about and you can see the line in certain lighting. And lastly, MCK put a builder's lien on our house because the insurance company apparently didn't pay them on time. We were not given a heads up whatsoever and I happened to only find out because my sister was checking our mail as we lived in Ottawa so those legal documents were a lovely addition to our already very stressful situation.Once our insurance claim was closed I emailed MCK about these issues as well as to ask for someone to come out and give us a quote for water damage on the fridge panel (our fault). I was asked who we dealt with and told them who we personally dealt with but I wasn't sure who our insurance dealt with and that was it, no apology and no reply. A different guy called and came out to replace the fridge panel for $200 and that was the end of it.

5 Stars all the way. We can't say enough good things about our new kitchen and bathroom cabinets and counter tops from MCK. From our first dealings with Susan to the custom design plans that Tony completed for us, this coupled with their great installation teams, we are extremely please with all they have done. Even after the installation was completed, when we have had questions they respond immediately and are always professional.The after sales service from Steve and his team has also been second to none. They are very responsive and respectful and have been there for any questions and service that was needed.Thanks to the entire team at MCK, you have helped us make our dream kitchen and bathroom come to life.

We just had a kitchen installed by Mike's Country Kitchen and are very pleased with the results. Maria Penney was our sales person, helped with the design and was very knowlegeable and answered our questions without hestitation. We called Maria anytime even on the weekends and we never felt like we were bothering her and she was always willing to help us, this is the kind of customer service that keeps a company in business. I would recommend MCK and Maria Penney to my friends and in general conversation for anyone interested in acquiring a new kitchen.I also have to thank Thomas and Bradley who installed the cabinets and answered all my husbands questions. This was a great working experience with MCK and Maria Penney keep up the great customer service.Carolyn & Fred

Had MCK design and install our new kitchen cabinets through an insurance job in 2021. I will say first off that we love our new kitchen and the work they did was great so no complaints there. However, we dealt with Peter and his communication skills are deplorable! He rarely responded to our emails or returned our calls which made the job drag out much longer than needed. We spent so much time trying to chase him down and when the installers finally came to install our cabinets they told us they had no idea when they would return to finish the job and showed up weeks later, leaving us with a half done kitchen.If you don't mind being super patient and chasing down this company, they actually do good work but boy are they frustrating to deal with!

At installation of our quartz bar - the incorrect brackets had been installed. These brackets couldn't hold up a counter top of any sort - they were so flimsy. The quartz was put on - should not have been - and held up with wood until the brackets could be replaced. The quartz bar top had to be removed in order to install the new brackets and in that process many spots on the cabinets were damaged. These damaged areas were covered with wood. MCK Kitchens provided NO financial compensation for this comedy of errors. In fact, when we asked about compensation, we were told to pay the balance immediately or they were going to their lawyer and collections. Is that really how a customer should be treated - disgusting!
