Brudenell River Provincial Park - Campground

Suoer great campground. Bathroom facilities include showers that are kept super clean. Laundry available but limited. We had problems with a neighbouring camper ans the admin dealt with it immediately. Pool, horseback riding, playground, kayaking, and kids activities available, and just a short drive to Georgetown and Montague. Totally recommend it!

reserved a specific spot and paid serious cash for this spot, when we arrived there was another camper at the spot. called the front desk and when help arrived we were told the intruder got the wrong spot and we could take the spot they were supposed to be in. they wouldn’t suggest them moving to their reserved spot and we are taking a huge L in their camp spot. this isn’t cool and we’re not happy rn.

Great campground with nice private treed sites, some backing onto the river, and lots to do for the whole family.

Great campground. I stayed at an unserviced large and private site. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Quiet and peaceful.

Many options for the entire family. Horseback riding, canoeing, hiking and other family oriented activities. Oh yes, and golf for the grownups. Lots of attractions to see in the area.

This campground is busy, so if you want utilities you should plan ahead. We didn't and have a beautiful, large and private tent site for our TC. Our site is essentially a double but they obviously keep folks out of the paired site until they have no choice. Folks have been friendly and nights are quiet. There is one trail through the woods and its short and not terribly well maintained. There are a number of picnic table graveyards along the way (unfortunate - not sure why they are retiring them and not repairing them). The scenery is beautiful and besides the brush and table dumps, the campground is well maintained. We haven't nearly taken advantage of all there is to do here. There is a pool, horse stables, a boat house, and golf here as well as the camping. This spot serves well as a base for this section of the island and we extended to complete the entire shire drive.

Clean bathrooms, close to trails to get into montague or Georgetown by bike. Great views.
