Nikki was amazing to deal with. The consultation for new orthotics was an hour and she is very thorough finding out exactly what my needs were. I've had the new orthotics for about 2 weeks now and am finding them more and more comfortable each day. I have recommended my wife to give her a call and would highly recommend anybody else to do the same.

I would like to give an outstanding rating for the clinicians, staff and Dr. Nikki MacGillivary (Nikki) of the Body ‘N’ Sole clinic in Halifax which specializes in orthopaedic and pedorthic treatments. I’m a 37 year veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces with a number of foot, knee, leg and lower back issues that cause me much pain and suffering. I had previously seen other clinics and had a pair of orthotics that I felt were not correct for me. As one of the clinics had closed and the other one was in a previous province I was looking for a new clinic. I just did a search on Dr Google to see what I could find for another clinic. One that understood the Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) system, could directly bill them and could find out what I might have for benefits, treatment and coverage etc. I had a couple choices from the Google search and Nikki from Body ‘N’ Sole was one of them. I reached out to her and even though she was out of town she promptly got back to me. We had a quick conversation and I could immediately tell she was extremely skilled and knowledgeable in the field of Pedorthics, gait and foot biomechanics and knew the details of the VAC system. We agreed to meet at her clinic and she gave me a list of things to bring to assist in the assessment. During the assessment she inquired about my conditions, routine, lifestyle, activity levels, aches and pains in order to figure out the best treatment and what would benefit my condition. Nikki is a skilled communicator who knows what questions to ask to get an accurate picture of the issues. She quickly figured it out and knew my previous orthotics and shoes were not the right ones for me. She was very professional but also down to earth with a good sense of humour. She could tell I was somewhat anxious and skeptical about what could be done for me and took the time needed, asked the right questions, and quickly gained my trust putting me at ease. I could tell she was genuinely concerned for my well-being. For anyone suffering from foot pain, poor circulation, or are afflicted with a disease that causes any of these problems, like myself from poor circulation, Mortons Neuroma, Torn meniscus, lower back pain etc you could surely benefit from the professional treatment at Body ‘N’ Sole. I highly recommend them, I’ve only had my new shoes and orthotics for a short while and my feet, knees and back feel better already. Thank You so much for your expertise and taking the time to find the best treatment for me.

Nikki is simply the best at what she does. I started seeing her on the recommendation of the Physician I worked with . He and a number of his family members were clients at the time. He wasn't wrong. Her advice is always spot on. She referred me to one of the physios in the Clinic where she works. I was doubtful I would be walking pain free after some laser treatments and new orthotics but... here I am doing average of 12,000 steps a day!! Highly recommend her!!

Nikki is absolutely amazing. She is so skilled and a great communicator. My physician highly recommended her and he was right. Her assessment was accurate and she ensured that I received the orthotics which have allowed me to enjoy my daily run, walks and hiking. Happy feet mean freedom to move and Nikki is the professional for the job. Nikki is excellent and I highly recommend her.

I have/had owned 5 pairs of their orthopedic insoles. I have loved them every time. Without them, I would not be able to play basketball, run, and do other activities as well without them. As a 19 year old, this is very important to me. I have been a customer for almost 5 years and will continue to be one!

The orthotics I had made have been very helpful to alleviate the pain I have from standing all day at work and running extracurricularly . Will be getting a second pair made soon.

I had an appointment with Dr. Nikki MacGillivary. She was great and very efficient. We chatted a lot about my lifestyle, activity levels, aches and pains so she knew what custom orthotics would be best for me. I highly recommend this clinic they make you feel very comfortable, like chatting with an old friend. My orthotics fit perfect and have made being on my feet for hrs at a time much better. Carpal Tunnel Support. I have gone to Bodn N’Sole several times. I always am greeted with a very knowledgeable and friendly young lady named Nikki. This last time around I received quality wrist,hand braces to alleviate the pain I experience from TC. Nikki also assisted my 94 year old father, treating him with kindness, respect and understood his needs. I highly recommend Body N Sole.
