Very cool place inside. Quaint , clean and nice. The bartender made some excellent drinks. And when she ran out of a particular ingredient asked if she could create a new and different cocktail for us. It was even better than our already good drinks. Lots of options for beer and cocktails.

Absolutely stunning fish & chips and the crispiest wings I’ve had, the tartar sauce and their gravy as well were amazing sides for the dishes. Loved the fish so much I had to order an extra piece. The pub is friendly and a perfect place to have some fresh seafood

We toured the harbour front looking for a place to eat. As you can imagine it was packed and honestly that turned out to be a good thing. We found The Brown Hound on google and decided to give it a try. The first thing that was great was they actually had the beers on the tap list. Our waiter was nice and attentive even though he was working with a cast on. I had the steak and Guinness pie which was delicious! Also first time having beer battered fries and those tasted great.All in all great atmosphere and super short walk from the harbour.

Fries were awesome. Not a big fan of pepper though and the chicken burger I had was heavy on the pepper. Will definitely go back to try again! Dog friendly outside.

It was our first time here, and we had a good experience. The servers were super friendly and nice, and the food was super tasty! I really enjoyed the atmosphere there, so definitely will go back again soon!

My best friend and I are on a road trip from ontario. We went there an had the fish and chips, which was amazing. We meet the locals and had so many fun conversations. The owner cookie was lovely and had such a great energy. It was the east coast vibe we were looking for.

Came in just after 2pm. Service was friendly and being between major meals it was not too busy. Girlfriend and I ordered chicken wings, beer battered fries and the Sheppard's Pie. The pie was a bit spicier than I thought, but it's listed as spicy beef so can't fault them there :-) It was very flavorful and both it and the fries came served hot (temperature wise). Almost was going to let it cool a couple minutes, but it was too good to wait.The wings and the sauces are very good here to. One of the highlights for me was the crispy beer fries and the aioli that comes with it is the same served on their great burger. It goes great with the fries, and I'll be coming back to try the burger & chicken korma. Server checked in with us a few times and only a bit slow returning at the end of the meal but was busy with the till. She was happy to answer questions on some recommended menu items for future visits. This place was recommended by a co-worker and I'm looking forward to my next visit in the future!

We walked many miles today and were hungry. The place was packed and an outdoor table became available as we walked in! We ordered a salad, garlic mussels with extra garlic baguette as Shay recommended. We topped it off with the Hound House Burger and several red ales. Great place, service and atmosphere, wish you were closer where we live! Thank you

Steak and fish and chips were delicious. Not crazily overpriced like surrounding restaurants. Located in the middle of lots of condos and construction so not the best view but great time
