I asked JD Furniture to downsize a brand new headboard -- one of those beautiful oversized headboards that looks amazing in the store but not always practical unless you have a huge bedroom... I was very nervous at the thought of a saw cutting into my brand new piece of furniture but Josh did a fantastic job with great care and attention to detail. I love my new headboard even more, now that it fits better in my bedroom! Dawn D.

Josh repaired 4 of our wooden chairs, one that had a split in the seat. All the work was completed very satisfactory and in a timely manner. When he said he would have the work done and delivered, it was a done deal. On time and well done! I would recommend him to anyone.

They fixed both my couch and love stay back to new im very please and he was fast.

I have no idea whether the quality of the service is top notch and honestly I don't care. I'll never contact this business again.I had them come to fix my couch back in February. When they came all I got was someone who came out and looked at the couch for 10min. I got no quote. I got no ETA. All I got was a appraisal fee, the dimensions for the foam pieces, and was told that someone would get in touch. That was End of February. I got a text last week (4/16/21) with the quote and costs of parts and labor. Nearly two months without a single notification, quote, any form of indicating they were going ahead with the service or that they cared.I did the repair myself. Took an hour (they were going to charge 180), and the parts were cheaper that way too.Maybe other people didn't have this issue; but I take transparency quite seriously when it comes to who I plan on giving my hard earned money to.

Fortunately I found JD Furniture Repair. I broke the control lever on our Smith Brothers leather recliner which we purchased new in Eaton Rapids. They stopped selling those products and they didn’t seem interested in assisting me in resolving our problem. I ordered/received the part but after reviewing how the part was weaved through the chair replacing it was much more complicated then I wanted to tackle.I called JD Furniture, described my problem and they assured me that they could fix our chair. The owner called me within a hour, gave me an estimate and scheduled our repair for the next day. He showed up on time, fixed our chair within his estimate and he was very professional. A true craftsman at furniture repair.

Our antique rocker arms were in very bad condition. We feared that they couldn't be repaired.However, Josh was a wizard and completely refinished them and they like like new. We are very pleased with his work. We would recommend his ability to anyone.
