Sophie went above and beyond to make my day stress free. During the planning process, she was always there to answer any questions I had. She even helped me with things that were not related to photography. She knows the wedding industry really well and gave me lots of tips, advice and recommendations to help me book my other vendors.Sophie made everything so easy! Where to begin!!!! My husband and I discovered Sophie through some of our friends who had hired her for their wedding, and we were blown away with their photos! Sophie was very responsive and professional from the get-go, we met virtually for the first time and she was able to answer our (many) questions. We planned to have a destination wedding, and knowing Sophie had experience working abroad definitely gave us peace of mind. Both my Husband and I always wanted film photos done for our wedding and she was more than excited to shoot some film for us! Sophie captured our day so perfectly. She understood exactly what we were looking for in terms of style of photos, and even exceeded our expectations. Sophie is a RAY of sunshine! She is the kindest, hardest working photographer I know. Okay.. here it goes. This may be a long one, but please bare with me because every word needs to be said.Sophie didn't just take photos at my wedding. She captured moments, documented real feelings, and created memories that will last for a lifetime.Sophie shot our engagement photos years ago (OG review from that below), and it was love at first flash. I knew immediately that we HAD to have her for our wedding. There wasn't anyone else I could imagine trusting to capture such an important day. My husband and I chose to elope in Tuscany, Italy. Organizing it was chaotic, but Sophie was an imperative part of the process. We flew out with 20 of our friends and family to get married in an Italian villa in wine country.Sophie was with us for the entire week, and while she may have come on the trip as our photographer, she left as everyone's friend too. She was a delight from start to finish.The day of the wedding comes, and she helped direct us on where to find the best lighting, and gave our group prompts to help us capture the moment. She even managed to wrangle our rowdy groomsmen into formal portraits.Sophie sent us a few sneak peaks the next day, and I bawled. I couldn't believe that we had really done this crazy thing. The photos were so much more than what I had dreamed of. I've never felt so beautiful in my life. She had the enormous task of capturing our destination wedding, and I would not have changed a single photo.There aren't enough words in the world to properly thank you for this experience. Sophie is an amazing photographer and she is always camera ready. She takes stunning wedding photos and is a pleasure to work with. She gives great direction and helps capture all the special moments. I am quite camera shy, and she really knows how to make you feel comfortable when taking photos.
