The ice cream was ok but what really stood out was the cafe food. I got the bison chili hotdog (sub chipotle mayo from the reg mayo) and was blown away by the flavours and the amount of food that you get. This has to be one of the best hotdogs I've ever eaten and I would highly recommend trying it... but be warned it's very messy and I wish I had a wet nap on me lol. Will absolutely be back to try other cafe items!I wouldn't go out of my way to get ice cream here though. My sundae was good but nothing special. The banana split that my company had was very disappointing. We've had better banana splits at Dairy Queen. It came with tiny scoops of ice cream and two of the three scoops were chocolate, not vanilla... which wasn't advertised. It's definitely not worth your money and I would highly recommend avoiding this menu item.The free dog cone was very well enjoyed but I wish their patio had more shade and a larger water dish. It wasn't busy when I visited but can see it getting emptied very quickly during busier times of the day.Customer service was fantastic though. We each had a few variations to the menu and everything was prepared right the first time. Employees were very friendly and patient.

It's a very cute cafe, warm service with amazing price. This place got its own parking lot. I would give 4.5 if there is because the food tastes way better than it looks. I love the Reuben sandwich, the smoked meat is not salty, the slaw and fresh pickles just so delicious. I don't know how you could get a delicious sandwich for this price these days. I had the seafood bisque, tastes pretty good like home made, ice cream sampler was my favorite, i picked sour cherry with dark chocolate, vegan toasted coconut, ferrero rocher, lemon meringue, I love that it's real ice cream, melt slowly not those fake one with tons of air and made with fat. I enjoyed it and went back the second time. Will come back again! Keep up the good work!

We have been there twice for lunch. Great service, excellent food. The shepherds pie was excellent. The best i have ever tasted. Their soups are great. The beet salad exceptional. We will be making this a regular place to go for lunch. Definitely recommend this place.

LOVE THIS PLACE! My family goes here almost every time they go out for ice cream. It’s REAL ice cream… SO creamy! You can taste the love that goes into it. My favourite is the Hot Fudge, Peanut Butter, & Spanish Peanuts Parfait… yum!HIGHly recommend this place!!! It’s even on some delivery apps.

Probably the best ice cream place in Winnipeg when it comes to flavor accuracy. The flight gives you four flavors to try for $10 which is plenty of ice cream for two people. Their earl grey and strawberry balsamic is my favorite but the flavors I tried were fantastic! Food is okay but cheap price makes it worth it. Go there for ice creams!

First visit to Dug and Betty’s and it’ll be on the itinerary for the next visit!There’s a wide selection of small batch ice cream, as well as, a selection of sundaes, parfaits and other such treats. I opted for the parfait and it didn’t disappoint!On a wonderful Sunday evening, the place was busy, but the window service quick and efficient! There is plenty of seating options to enjoy your ice cream.One thing I noticed was the food menu. With items like lobster mac’n’cheese, it is something I’ll be exploring.

Cute little ice cream shop. They have a few vegan options, both in food and frozen treats.Loved the dine-in space, and they have a patio out back/side. The service was very good and helpful.They have a little walk-up window for getting your ice cream fix and head inside if you want to order food before your dessert!I had to take a star off because parking is awful. The rutted driveway is almost undriveable, and the parking set up forces you to back out into rutted lane and towards people standing outside for ice cream. It's a brutal parking setup. Park on a side street somewhere and walk over to enjoy this amazing place.
