I flew with TD for my ppl training. I have wanted to be a pilot since i can remember and has been a lifetime dream. I trained at CFX2 Okotoks and TD was one if my primarily instructor, not only is he impressive in the aircraft, he has a profound wealth of knowledge from a Bachelors Degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He can answer any question and then some! I thoroughly enjoyed my time training with him and gained more knowledge than I could have asked for. Not to mention he is has the social skills that often times leads you to asking him to stop talking! I would gladly spend more time in a plane with this fine gentleman

I was always interested in learning too fly but I wanted to have fun with it aswell. Not many instructors I had were capable of making flying a fun experience while also learning. TD was one of my instructors for my PPL license and definitely made every minute in the plane exciting and enjoyable, even when mistakes were made. He was very educational during the flight lessons and his positive attitude always made it easy to learn. Whenever there was confusion he would always try to explain it, and he wouldn’t stop trying different ways to explain it until he made sure that you had understood. Instructors like TD are what a school needs in order to be beneficial to both the students, and the school. He is an exceptionally well trained pilot, so good in fact that we called him maverick from top gun. I would definitely recommend TD as an instructor to anyone new, or going through their pilot training as he can offer everything they need, and also be a guy you can count on to achieve your goals with flying.

I’m really grateful for TD! He explains things very thoroughly, is very patient, understands that every student is different and alters the way he teaches according to their needs. Thank you so much for your knowledge and patience and overall fun amazing flights every time. Thank you for your endless support. Whoever flies with you is very lucky to have you! I am looking forward to flying again with you soon :)

I have always wanted to become a pilot ever since I was a kid! After gone through couple of schools finally found a good place to complete my training! I have completed my ppl and cpl with TD in Calgary hands down one of the best instructors in the industry. Always has a good attitude after spending a year and some month with the guy never ever seen him when he is not in a good mood! His training technique was phenomenal made sure it was worth every minute when you were in the air! If you didn’t understand some thing you could call him at anytime and he would explain it to you! He did very well on PGIs and ground briefs 10/10 would recommend every one to fly with him! I didn’t feel like I just met another instructor I made a life long friend in the industry.
