Pho Dau Bo Restaurant
Highly overrated one. The famous Bone Marrow is nothing but a not tasty bone fat. The price is so expensive considering the portion is not that big. Large noodles is 18 dollars! Definitely one of the most expensive Pho I’ve ever had. And I substituted the noodles to the round noodles. It’s 3 dollars more without notifying me beforehand. I’m a huge fan of Pho, and I have many good Pho restaurants to recommend. Unfortunately, this one is not on my list.

Pho Dau Bo Restaurant
First time visiting Pho Dau Bo. Overall, it's a decent little spot to grab a bowl of soup. We did find that the portions are smaller than other pho restaurants we've been to, and a bit pricier as well ($18.00 for a large satay pho). The flavors were wonderful though, and the doughnut stick to eat with it was different and fun.Atmosphere was different. Playing heavy EDM music at 4:00pm. Other than that, it's a standard place to grab some pho. Service was good, no issues getting what we needed.

My colleague keeps introducing me to these small but amazing restaurants. Pho Dau Bo was awesome! Our server, Elena, was friendly & outgoing. She helped us wade through the menu. We both chose the spicy beef satè noodle soup. We also shared spring rolls to start. The portions are HUGE. I’ll have soup for two more days. I would highly recommend that if you find yourself down 17th Ave SE, you have lunch at this place. It was sooooo good. Thanks to the whole team. I’ll definitely be back!

It was very good indeed. Its my first time having bone in beef rib and ox tail in pho. The broth was good. The baked bone marrow was absolutely amazing. Everything is delicious. It would be perfect if fresh noodle is used.

Haven’t been here in ages. Hard to justify coming here when noodle world, which I feel is more authentic and better, is right beside it. I did notice a change in vibe here. More of a social presence and so, it attracts more of the visitors than local. The satay broth was one of my favourite and it still is. I just wish they didn’t reduce the amount of beef in it. Stick to the pho…everything else is just overly expensive and not really worth it. After finishing our food, my 8 year old said ‘I like the place next door much better.’ This pretty much sums it up.

Pho Dau Bo Restaurant
Tried this restaurant after all the rave and good things that I’ve heard about it. I must say that I was not disappointed! The location is convenient, the staff was friendly, our meals were served to us quickly and most importantly; the food was delicious! Tried the spicy peanut sate soup with rare beef while my friends ordered the specialty soup with bone marrow on the side. With most sate soups, I can usually handle them no problem. However, with the spicy sate soup that I ordered here, I was taken for surprise with how well the spice level was delivered! With all that said, I believe the prices are quite fair. Will definitely be returning for pho whenever I am in the area especially because it’s beginning to get colder here in Calgary!
