Absolutely love this restaurant. The service is fantastic and the food is all made fresh in restaurant. I found the staff to be very helpful and organized. It was very clean and very consiensus towards public health and safety. I find it to be one of the most relaxing yet classy places to go have food. I would recommend the spicy pork, as it was simply fantastic if you want to go on a date or just go grab some food in a nice peaceful area of town I would recommend this as well.

Had my first ever bowl of ramen because it was gluten free! And it was amazing!! I was delighted to find that in Kamloops you can actually find a lot of gluten-free options, including ramen, and Wakayama did not disappoint. I had the black garlic and by the end of the bowl the umami was so deep that I could have ordered a second, if I wasn't so full because of the massive portion.If I lived here this would become a weekly obsession.

i love this place !! i got the original vegan bowl and it was so so yummy. emily who was helping us was so amazing and even offered to take a photo for us because she saw us attempting taking one. she was seriously so sweet and went the extra mile for us. 10/10 recommend !! food is great and the staff is amazing :)

I’ve never left a google review but this place was beyond a huge disappointment. The menu is very limited and expensive. My son’s ramen was an absolutely putrid flavour and smell. Was not even edible. Now keep in mind I’ve traveled a lot and eaten many crazy foods and this was not even something I could eat. Then they wanted to charge us for it until I flat out refused. The waitress argued with me about other customers liking it. The level of customer service is not there. The egg was cold, noodles were not fresh, the pork on top was mostly fat and very slimy texture. This place does not fairly represent ramen and I’m honestly sorry it’s in Kamloops. I wish people going would have a better and more authentic experience. I’ve never been so blunt about a negative review but this place takes the cake. I would never recommend this place. I wish I could leave zero stars.

We were visiting Kamloops for the day and was surprised to find this ramen in town! Service was quick and restaurant was clean and stylish! You can tell the design element was well thought out. The ramen was decent though I found the broth was a bit light compared to what I was used to in Vancouver BC. Price was fair. Portion is quite large. Noodle was thin ramen noodle. Overall it’s decent.

Popped in here for dinner on my way through Kamloops based on reviews. Was totally taken back when told if I was a father, and this was Father's Day they had a choice of four free Ramens! I had the Black Tonkotsu...great broth and ingredients. Plus, super frendly staff! Outstanding in this day and age of pump up the prices" for a small restaurant to honor dad's with free food! Way to go: Wakayama Ramen Bar!"

Did not disappoint. Broth was rich and flavourful. Noodles perfectly cooked. Ramen egg melted in my mouth. Will make this our go to stop in Kamloops. Loved it!

The Wakayama Ramen Bar
I guess we have been spoiled by the likes of Butcher Ramen in Vancouver. This Ramen was subpar! The broth should be be what it’s all about and it was definitely not. The noodles did not taste fresh. We also ordered Karage which was about 8 nugget size pieces. Overall you get so much more in most places in Vancouver for a lower price.
