Stopped by to ask the security agent if they have a non-appointment line & he was extremely reluctant to answer my question (although its quite straight forward, yes or no). He said he couldn’t answer my question & gave me a piece of paper with the SAAQ’s phone number as if you can actually get through to them. What a joke.

I did a road test. The invigilator I had was extremely mean and his tone was very condescending towards me. They gaslighted me, they failed to route me correctly twice during the exam and did not say anything of it. The invigilator's treatment was completely unethical and inappropriate. This should never be allowed, and there should be a policy protecting clients from behavior that should be punished. I am extremely disappointed and displeased at how the Dorval SAAQ handles things, and I am very dissatisfied at how little they seem to care about anything or anyone there.Individuals who get tested by an invigilator, such as on a road test, should give feedback on how the invigilator performed, in my case, and probably for many others, it was abysmal, and they did not exercise any amount of care, seeing as how they were incapable of communicating appropriately.

Waited all morning from 6am-9:45am to get seen. When I get there the manager comes up asks me what I need and I tell her that I just need a vehicle transfer done (all the paperwork is already filled out, I just need it approved). She tells me to leave and learn how to do it online with their new website. I tried explaining to her that it isn’t working online and that the system has a problem but she doesn’t care and called the security to kick me out with no empathy. Horrible customer service, horrible managing.

I had bad experience with {Mahmud }as a driving license tester. he was not professional and respectful in his approach, and that this affected my overall experience. It's unfortunate when individuals are not qualified or adequately trained for their jobs, as it can lead to negative experiences for customers, such as my case . The moment I started to drive he has the intention to fail me!it may be worth filing a complaint or talking to someone in authority about him!

Very poor service and understaffed. Line up out and around the building. The security guard suggested making an appointment, which I tried but the soonest appointment was December 1st.This is unacceptable in 2022. 98% of these transactions can and should be done online. Quebec government and the SAAQ need to do better than this. They can't keep using covid as an excuse for terrible service and wait times.

In exactly 5 days I'll become an 80 year old senior citizen - and I just get the run-around by the SAAQ's office in Dorval / Quebec. A completely hopeless place. As soon as you cross the door you're asked: do you have an appointment! If no: go home and get one. Any other question - answer is the same: I don't know - NO advise of any kind! I had a picture taking appointment and was also sent home - with the same answer. My license will now expire in only a few days and I may get stopped by the police etc. The unprofessional and incompetent guy at the door doesn't care! I applied for a new appointment and got one in five (5) weeks. I went to the local police station to explain and protect my liabilities, because I don't know what to expect during my next appointment.I'm a professional engineer, I learned to deal with all types of business peoples, I made two completely useless trips to the SAAQ Dorval branch and probably had a few more years in school than the rude welcome door guy. He should urgently be replaced ASAP.

HORRIBLE!!! Lost my license card in January. Waited over an hour in line because I didn’t have an appointment (1.5 month wait) they said they were having issues so I’d only receive my card in a month so they issued me 2 temporary permits 2 weeks a piece. A month goes by I haven’t received anything so I go back, they have a worker circulating telling the non appointments to do everything online which I can’t do in my case so after an hour of waiting I leave. Finally went back today after having no license for over a month and they closed the non appointment line right as I get to the front saying they don’t have time for any more non appointments. So after another hour of standing in line and getting nowhere I had to leave and go to another SAAQ and stand outside an hour and a half I was told that they actually canceled my licence the first time when I told them I needed a replacement and I also got a copy of my driving record printed, another thing SAAQ Hymus told me they couldn’t do there. I honestly wish I could stop paying taxes to these useless humans! And the security guard is a real piece of work as well. Lesson learned DON’T LOSE YOUR LICENSE !

Terrible place. Go elsewhere if you can. If no one shows up, perhaps they will shut it down. The staff messes with people's heads for kicks. They ask you to stand in line for hours without an appointment knowing very well that you'll never get served unless you have an appointment and then they throw you out. The security guard is rude and threatens people. I left and went to a different SAAQ where I received much better service.

Discrimination is alive and well at this location. On Monday, June 12th around noon I was served by an older african american lady who refused to speak any english to me.. yet to the customer right before me spoke to them in perfect english without an issue. She must've known the person or took a liking.. not sure but, this was disgusting and should be dealt with. I gave no reason to be disrespected and can speak french but, to just play politics when you feel like it with who you feel like it is wrong. I will make sure to let everyone I know about this location. Also, a big sign saying On parle seulement francais" I guess goes along with their attitude. They should keep in mind.. Dorval area has a lot of an english community so I'm sure this isn't/won't be the first time of a bad situation like this."
