The food and the space at McGregor is perfect for many occasions. We booked it for team events, executive and board meetings, and conferences. The food and space are great.

Attended the American Society of Hematology conference in December 2018. The place is huge, very well built. Great ocean view from the balconies. Loved the kids daycare for my boys, I didn't know if it's a part of the convention center or a business by itself. They have several screens for larger halls.

The five stars is for the architecture by Yamasaki M. The food....well, they have a good wine list. They have a high end menu that is spectacular, but most events afford the basic menu.

Went there to relax by the Yamasaki-designed reflecting pool, which I found to be nice. While I associate reflecting pools with serene atmospheres, this one seemed to miss the mark. I visited the pool the following week to give it a second chance and remove any doubt that my mood that day may have affected my view. Unfortunately, it still seemed lacking. Too much cement, almost no plants or greens, and a surrounding building which has not aged well make the environment more gloomy than serene. Check it out if you're in the area as it is still pretty unique, but don't plan a visit around it.

This is a fabulous space with amazing aesthetic. Would work well for a variety of special events. Friendly staff and the building itself was designed by a world-renowned architect.
