I was very surprised by the quality of service today. I came in to print a few pages and was directed straight to the self-serve printers, which didn't work with my flash drive (I only discovered that after preaproving a $5 fee). I was then told to use the computers that cost $0.30 per minute on top of the printing fee.I told the employee that I didn't want to pay that much, he first told me that it was the only option, and when I insisted a little he told me that they had too much work and were under-staffed (aka 3 other customers for two employees).So I just let him get back to his very interesting conversation with the security guard, and left without purchasing anything.

My experience with the photo center was bad. The white lamp behind the person being photographed makes the person's photo darker, because the camera's flash is not enough to offset the light. Yes, the photo is enlightened later in the computer, but you can say the color of clothes has changed (e.g. a navy jacket is pale).

Ive had several negative experiences that put me right off Staples altogether. They failed to follow through when they said they'd hold an item and wouldn't offer anything to make up for clumsy errors they made that resulted in us not being able to take advantage of a special sale.Then they refused to order items from another outlet even though their website says that is a service provided, they refused to stock items they didnt feel were profitable enough, but were normal items other locations stocked.They literally refused to sell me an item, they said, because it was so inexpensive they just didn't want to bother. My friend and I both have to count every cent, and didnt have any way to buy the more expensive options, but these were items they were supposed to sell. When I asked how they could act that way and refuse to follow store policies the assistant manager answered with contempt in her voice, we have a Starbucks

I needed to print a poster last minute for school and the person I talked to on the phone was super helpful and had it done for me very quickly. Could not be more thankful for this place!

Staff is always polite and helpful, print products are good – but whenever I try to call, I never get an answer. Only thing keeping me from giving a full five stars :P

being there is like being trapped in a maze with no exit or entrance while water rises around you. a hellish experience through and through. the staff are nice though except for steve. steve is a paranoia inducing dictator whose mind has been warped into vessel for punishment and malice. also never buy the warranty. this place is a scam if there ever was one. avoid at all costs unless you want to stop by for the happy goat coffee. they have good muffins there.

I bought ink cartridges for my HP. It came out to 100 dollars. I realized I bought the wrong cartridges. I went back and couldn't find my receipt. I asked for an exchange. They said we will give you the last lowest price which is in Vancouver. I live in Ottawa. It was a 30 dollar price drop per cartridge. I kept the cartridgess and will sell them on Kijiji. Their reasoning was ridiculous. So now I buy my HP cartridges at Best Buy. You've lost me as a customer.

No wonder they have 3 stars. Still too many in my opinion. Absolute worst customer service on the planet. Don’t shop here. They won’t be there to help you if any of the shady products they sell end up failing even with it their 1 month warranty.

I very simply and politely asked about my FedEx package and was very rudely responded to for not having my ID and not speaking loud enough…

They are not helpful at all. Quite possibly the worst staples I’ve been too. God forbid you forget a pen or another woman next to me, need to borrow tape to affix a shipping label, they will make you buy the pen and roll because they offer “printing and packaging services”. It’s a money grab and the staff could be replaced by automated workers given how unhelpful they are.
