Such a beautiful place set back in the country! There is a nice waterfall on the drive in. The complex has multiple cabins of various sizes as well as glamping tents. The history of the facility is fascinating. (I don’t want to ruin the surprise). Our cabin was a small room with a queen sized bed. It was quaint and reminded us of our childhood summer camp days! Breakfast is in the main house. Many fresh choices available and even giant real coffee cups (vs just plastic ones like most hotels). We can’t wait to go back again and try out one of the tent cabins!

We stayed here one night on our family vacation. We wished we had more nights. It was lovely. Our unit was so nice.Clean, comfortable, all amenities were available. We slept so comfortably and soundly. We had a campfire that night. The stars were gorgeous! We missed our hot tub time, which was our mistake, so we can’t speak to that. The breakfast was nice and the dining room is quaint and a nice place to meet other travellers. The management were very friendly and helpful.Highly recommend this location.

I did not stay. I attended the Rum Runners Party. Cosy, attractive venue. Immaculate. Delicious food. And plenty of it. Generous seafood in seafood chowder. Delicious pulled pork sliders. And the BREAD PUDDING! Ooh la la. Water pitchers on the table were replenished regularly. Friendly, happy, polite staff. Played EVERY song I requested. If no one was dancing, they would change the song. Very smart. Excellent service. Not understaffed like so many places. Super generous prizes and lots of them. Very well organized with such a positive, welcoming atmosphere. Superbly done. I highly recommend. I look forward to the next party. The hostess (host) with the mostest." Thank you."

If you're looking for a picturesque, quiet, secluded getaway far from any major cities - this may be the place for you, if you're willing to omit some of the common frills and comforts of your average hotel. There are plenty of areas to explore in the nearby forest and trails. The grounds feature some beautiful restored historic buildings as well as sprawling gardens full of lush greenery and beautiful blooms. Perfect for photography and events! As explained in detail in other sections, this inn is lacking in some functionality with the interior rooms that some may see as a deal-breaker, while others may shrug and just deal with it. Rooms in the main building did not include a mini fridge, though there is a communal full-sized fridge provided in the downstairs common area. In addition, there is no ice machine - only bagged ice provided in limited quantities in the communal freezer. Our room also had pretty limited amenities - no alarm clock provided, no in-room phone, only one bedside table, and no extra blankets, pillows, towels, etc. Pretty much any extras you may require have to go through the staff which are generally always available, though there was a period of time on Sunday where it felt like a bit of a ghost town and it took hours to hunt down someone to help with a request. All that being said, it's a very nice, quiet location that makes up for its shortcomings with a beautiful and calm atmosphere and is worth the long drive to get to.

We stayed two nights at Dominion Hill & we were pleasantly surprised at the beauty of the property! We had the Curtis room which has the most comfortable king size bed, a lounging room & good size shower.Michael the owner is the kindest gentleman who greets you when you arrive & takes pride when talking about his property! The staff are very friendly & helpful. You are served a lovely breakfast with many choices! We are so happy we choose the Inn for a relaxing, quiet last few days of our trip!Thank you Michael!

We booked Harmony Cottage for a last minute trip after Christmas. Michael, the owner was very responsive and accommodating with our booking enquiry and provided plenty of information before our arrival . The cottage well exceeded our expectations, it was cosy and welcoming and had everything we needed for our 5 night stay (even some beers in the fridge to welcome us !). It was immaculately clean, well quipped and of course the bonus was a delightful log burning fire (logs provided) . Our dogs loved the fenced yard and we all enjoyed the many lovely walking trails close by.Breakfast is available in the main house and it was very pleasant to wander across between 8 and 10 for fresh coffee, bagels etc with the offer of cooked eggs always there . Michael is the perfect host - on hand to help out and answer questions but in no way intrusive. We can’t praise this place highly enough and hope to return soon.

Place was not cleaned when we got here, dead bugs everywhere, decorations from last people still around. We came for the hot tubs but they were closed the whole weekend we were here due to possible power outages"

Amazing place! Me and a few friends stayed in the loft which was beautiful. There were two pull out couches in the upstairs and a room with a queen bed in the downstairs part. It felt so cosy and we had the best time there. The owner Michael was so kind and was willing to do anything to make our stay more enjoyable. I very much recommend staying here!
