This place is awesome. I didn’t even realize at first that it’s an old church. So I was very amused by the Holy Whale name and decor once my husband told me. The tables have original pews for chairs. My husband liked his beer. I don’t like beer but sampled the skittle one and I liked it!Just a heads up that they don’t really have food. Pretzels, pickled eggs and pickled sausages. But we weren’t there for food. Definitely worth a stop!

These guys have one of the best reds I've ever tried. Staff all super friendly. Only knocked off a star because not everything advertised was available....

What a nice place! They are following the new rules (mask and vaccine card to sit inside). We both had the Cerveza, a blonde ale, perfectly light and crisp for the sunny afternoon on the warm deck. Beautiful decor, very friendly staff, knowledgeable about their beers!

My pals and I dropped in yesterday for a brew after a motorbike ride through the park. Beautiful place , friendly professional staff and well thought out operation . Beer was great and we really enjoyed the cute outside patio. Definitely coming back !!

A brewery in a reclaimed church? That got us in the door. But make no mistake this is no gimmicky brewery. Coming from Victoria, BC where we have an amazing craft beer scene my expectations are high. All local beer so far in PEI and NB has been underwhelming until now. I had a flight and every beer was fantastic. They also made great hot chocolate for our kids. The graphics are amazing too - I left with a tshirt, poster, beers, and smiles. Thank you.

Delightful brewery with excellent beer and a great atmosphere. 10/10 for the rhubarb strawberry sour.

Nice selection of brews in a cool location. Have to say allowing small kids to hang out on the great summer deck isn’t what I expected at a brewery and killed the vibe. Ended up leaving after only sampling one pint.

Wide variety of beers to go with a nice selection of coffee grounds. Nice set up after a day of hiking through Fundy National Park. Great and helpful staff on recommendations. Kids are welcome as well which is nice for families who want to stop for a quick drink

Amazing stop in Alma! A church covered into a coffee and beer tasting room! The flight is $17 for 4 6oz. It’s a little steep for a flight, but you’re getting 1.5 pint of beer. They had a wide selection of their beer from sour to a stout and boy was it good. The skittle sour was by far my favourite of the whole trip in the Maritimes and we stopped at a lot of places along the way. You can actually taste the skittles, so it is a little sweet balanced out by the sour. The sour was rich, creamy and the right amount of sour that really shines through in the margarita sour. The coffee stout was also rich and balanced with bitter. They sell it in 1L cans and we took both thee babies home with us to the west coast. The lovely server was delightful and accommodating. She will let you taste anything you want till you want a full glass of it. Overall, just a lovely stop with church bleachers and patio space out ground to enjoy.
