Tonquin Building - Edo Japan: Grill & Sushi | Welcome to Edo Japan! Stop by our street front restaurant located in Hinton, AB with easy access off the Yellowhead Highway onto Carmichael lane. Located in the Tonquin building we are just South of KFC and next to Pizza Hut. We are right across the highway from The Griffiths Ford dealership. We’re a Canadian fast food restaurant chain, famous for our Japanese food which we cook fresh on our teppan grill with our signature teriyaki sauce. Edo's specialties include bento box meals, healthy noodle bowls, sushi (hand-rolled in-store daily), spring rolls, gyoza, miso soup and more! Great food, if you don't have concerns with gluten & celiac disease. We used to eat here often, then came several meals with wheat noodles for meals marked with a gluten allergy including a free meal from previous gluten orders. Very disappointing.

Ordered online chicken yakisoba bento and got chicken on rice which was overcooked , there was no wasabi, no ginger, no apple juice , no napkin in the bag. Considering Edo in whitecourt is always super nice it's Very disappointing! It looked like new staff that didn't know what they were doing maybe a vivid lack of staff but where was the owner then?

Wow typical edo small amounts of a better choice to burger definitely need to increase their serving size for the price,also the sauce didn't have much flavor,rolls we tight an tiny but edible,staff was friendly shop was clean.

Opened since march 2019 as the gentlemen at the counter told me. Love Edo Japan anywhere you go you can expect qualty food. I do like the bento box which comes with your choices of Sukiyaki, Teriyaki and many more main dishes. You also get 2 side dish which I like sushi for both. Yummy...I am a happy long term customer.

unfortunately and as mentioned below multiple times, I also had an unpleasant encounter with the cashier. The lady I interacted with displayed an extremely rude and unprofessional attitude, making it the most disappointing customer service experience I have ever encountered.Moreover, the food was rather mediocre. This is fine as I knew it was Asian fast food.Perhaps It would greatly benefit the staff's motivation and encourage better customer service if the management considered adding tip options to their card machines. This additional incentive could potentially result in a more positive and customer-focused environment.

Staff (Filipino lady) seemed really bothered when I asked for an extra box. Scratching my head as I wouldn't normally bother to write a review at a fast food place. But a Negative one they get especially since my bill was over $75.

Absolutely delicious food prepared fresh. Reasonable prices, eat in or take out very clean sitting/ eating area. The atmosphere was quiet when I was there, but that was during the day. Will definitely be back again!

Was parked outside tonight at 850 and asked if they had time to fry a few gyozas they said sorry were closed as the lights were on and anytime I order gyozas it takes 5 mins or less. Terrible customer service.

Brilliant! Quickly becoming my favorite fast food spot in Hinton. They have the absolute BEST chicken ramen soup!!! SO GOOD! Highly recommend Edo Japan! Great food, decent prices and amazing customer service, too!!!
