Rowsell's Nature Trail
A newly built boardwalk takes you along the banks of a salmon river. You can go as far as the climb and have a picnic in the picnic area if you don't want to climb Jacobs ladder.There are around 300 stairs on the ladder and it's quite the workout. The trail leads you to overlook some great views and there's around 535 steps in total!It ends with a spactacular view of Point Leamington. A must see if you visit!

Rowsell's nature trail is fantastic in every aspect.You should be warned, though, that although it's a short hike, it is mostly stairs, and those who are faint of heart or weak of knee should probably turn around when they get to the aptly named Jacob's ladder".The start of the walk follows a beautiful river with many small waterfalls. Rowsell's Nature Trail
Excellent trail, well worth the views. Despite the picnic table needing some love, well maintained trail infrastructure means almost no mud, but of course there are places where the trail passes over many roots. I would rate this an intermediate trail for difficulty, due to the relatively short length (1.5km one way) but the significant change in elevation brings it up a notch. (10m to 190m).

Rowsell's Nature Trail
This place is a stair masters dream. In just under 1.5 km of distance, you will climb 190+ meters! That's like 65 stories. The majority of this is a set of wooden steps called Jacob's Ladder. According to Strava, this segment is 330 meters long and goes up 76m. Bring water and make sure you are covered from mosquitoes. Walking sticks are good for the first while, but leave them at the bottom of the steps. The steps and wooden walk ways are well maintained and solid. The view from the top is really nice! Bring a picnic basket.
