Baldree's NOFRILLS Gananoque

Clean, produce is fresh, staff is always friendly and helpful. A good small town style grocery store. A reasonable variety for the size of store. I'm happy to shop here regularly.

Store is a bit cramped in spots, but otherwise clean and stocked with a reasonably good selection. Prices as of Feb 2023 are horrible with hardly a sale in sight. Many comparable items found at Shopper's Drug Mart on the same day were significantly cheaper. Inflation is one thing, price gouging is another. Will not return.

Terrible Customer Service. Bought 9 bags of milk few days ago with plenty of expiry date June 24. 3 bags are bad now. Took it back to return it the girl said you return some milk back few weeks ago as well. That was her reasoning not to return. We had a receipt and expiry date on the milk was still June 24. Criteria did meet but didn't want to return. When we spoke to manager, her reply was perhaps we shouldn't be buying so much at one time. We own a business so we do buy lot of grocery at this store for use. I can't believe a manager of grocery store would tell me not to buy lot of it. Instead of looking in to why the milk with plenty of expiry date went bad. After insulting us with all this in front of all the people there, manager wanted to give us couple of milk. We refuse to take it. I would rather a manager of store speak to us respectfully and follow the return policy than doubting your customers who spent $1500 month there.

I refuse to shop at this location. The stuff they have aren't the best, totally horrible set up. When rearranged everything our locals and frequent shoppers such as my family was angered frustrated and confused why ruin something good? And cutting back hours on the employees because of self check out? Don't deserve our business! We left and never looked back. And also price gouging on a lot of stuff. So Brockville has my business!

This location has recently renovated and also started offering more varieties of food for the more diverse population... I hope they continue to offer more options.

Typically still low in stock. Staff (some)disregard customers in aisles as they don't position there work carts off to the side. Their job seems to be more important than the customers spending money. On multiple occasions I have had staff walk in front of me with their work carts so they could get to where they want to go vs allowing the customers to please go ahead ". Employee manners awful. What happened to "please

Service here is always great, cash is never a long wait and products are easy to find! I always wait for a cashier as I'd rather employ a person then a machine too many of these self checkouts popping up!Lost my wallet in the parking lot one night, and one of the employees found it! They were quick to resolve the problem and get a hold of me by any means necessary, they contacted me via Facebook which i did not mind at all as I would have been through too much stress replacing certain items in said wallet. So I appreciate the reach out and honesty in finding it and returning it to it's owner! Thank you ladies!

I actually like Baldree's No Frills. It is expanding its options regarding organic produce which I appreciate. No you can't get everything there, but the prices are usually worth a trip.

High end pricing.On the same level as metro and superstore.And 25cent grocery cart deposit that my husband left in cart because brockville grocers have no deposit and nobody saw that coming. Not impressed.. God help me Walmart is cheaper!

They have better prices than any other place in Gananoque. But still how is a person supposed to eat better when a head of lettuce is 5 bucks. Can't afford to buy red meat. Crazy prices... ALL OVER..
